RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 400 block Keating Rd reported at 9:35PM. The resident reported that between 8:40AM and 9:20PM this date someone entered the residence via a cellar window. Taken were jewelry and a safe which contained cash, coins, jewelry and personal papers. The loss is estimated at about $25,000.

THEFT – 600 block Leslie Ln reported at 8:16AM. Taken from a vehicle overnight were a hand bag and a wallet. Also taken from a garage were 2 cases of beer, 2 bottle of Vodka and a set of golf clubs. The loss is estimated at about $2,688.00.

DRUG ARREST – Unit block Oxford Valley Rd at the Shell Station at 12:06PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the one of the male occupants. He was in possession of drug paraphernalia and heroin.

THEFT – River Rd at the St. Ignatius Cemetery, reported at 1:05PM. Decorative bricks valued at about $40 were taken from a gravesite sometime since 7/15/10.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 600 block Leslie Ln reported at 12:23AM. Police responded to a call of a disorderly / intoxicated person at a residence. The male subject was transported to the hospital and non-traffic citations were issued.

THEFTS:

1100 block Irving Rd reported at 6:00PM. Resident reported that an Ipod was taken from the vehicle overnight.

1010 Stony Hill Rd reported at 1:22PM. An employee of a business reported that an Ipod valued at $880 was taken from the work place.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1000 block Meridian Way reported at 8:28PM. A vehicle’s paint was scratched and the body was dented.

THEFT – 1800 block Makefield Rd reported at 10:39AM. Two BMX style bicycles were taken from an unlocked garage.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 1600 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 11:48AM. The vehicle was entered overnight and ransacked, but nothing appears to be missing.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1500 block Clark Dr reported at 2:16PM. The residence was egged overnight.

SOLICITATION – 1000 block Garey Dr reported at 6:37PM. Police investigated three males ranging in age from 24 to 26 that were soliciting without a permit. The three males were located and issued citations.

DRUG ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 10:36PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the 18 year old and 14 year old being cited for the possession of marijuana and alcohol. Parent notification made by police and both subjects to be cited.

THEFTS:

1700 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 8:47AM. A cell phone valued at $50 was taken from the vehicle overnight.

300 block Ramsey Rd reported at 11:53AM. A GPS, Ipod and vehicle registration with a total value of $500 were taken from the vehicle overnight.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 800 block Duchess Dr reported at 8:40AM. The vehicle was entered overnight and ransacked, nothing appears to be missing.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1600 block Langhorne-Yardley Rd at the CVS, reported at 4:28PM. Police responded to the report of a fight in progress in the parking lot. On arrival the two male combatants were located and both were cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.

WEAPONS ARREST – Hidden Pond Dr and Stony Hill Rd at 11:10AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the confiscation of a prohibited offensive weapon from the 40 year old male driver. A records check of the driver also showed he was wanted on a warrant out of Philadelphia.

THEFT – Unit block Kenmore Dr reported at 4:45PM. Overnight someone siphoned gasoline from the vehicle and also damaged the door to the gas tank intake causing about $48 in damage.

THEFT – 1500 block Yardley Rd reported at 1:10AM. The resident reported that a bicycle, a copper Trek 10 speed was taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 800 block Weber Dr reported at 1:13PM. A mailbox valued at $200 was vandalized overnight.

THEFT – 700 block W. Melissa Cir reported at 6:53PM. Resident reported that between 8/13 and 8/15 someone removed a deer statue valued at $500 from the front porch.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1100 block Bancroft Ln reported at 3:44AM. Resident reported that an ex-boyfriend, age 23 was observed carrying a bat and letting the air of the tires of the resident’s vehicle. The male fled the scene and was contacted by police and a citation to be issued.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - To Mailboxes and reported at various times and damage value is between $100 to $200:

300 block Ramsey Rd.

400 block Ramsey Rd – Two incidents.

900 block Weber Dr – Three incidents.

500 block Countess Dr.

Note: Several persons in dark clothing and one carrying a knap sack were observed by a resident on Weber Drive at about 10:31 knocking down mailboxes.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 200 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 12:37PM. Someone smashed the windshield to the vehicle overnight.

THEFT – 2000 block Woodland Dr reported at 4:20PM. Sometime overnight solar lawn lights with a value of $50 were taken.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at Michael’s Jewelers, reported at 3:51AM. Police were advised of fire alarm activation at this location and responded with the fire department. There was smoke inside the business from a saw that was used to attempt to enter a safe. A rear door was found forced open; it appears that the attempt to take merchandise was foiled. A computer was taken from the premises. Police are investigating.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 500 block Long Acre Ln reported at 9:17AM. Eggs were thrown at the residence overnight and an exploded beer bottle was in the mailbox.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1000 block Countess Dr reported at 1:00PM. Police responded to an audible burglar alarm at this location and upon investigation a rear door was found forced open. The residence was checked by police and no suspect(s) were found. The surrounding area of the home was checked. It appears nothing was taken from the residence.

RECOVERED PROPERTY – 1500 block River Rd reported at 10:00AM. A resident reported finding black & silver boys mountain bicycle. The bike is in the police custody.

THEFT – Unit block Wilbur Dr reported at 12:15PM. A rubber mat valued at $50 was taken from the bed of a pick up truck overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF (Graffiti) reported at various times:

Dolington Rd and Hilltop Ln – Traffic control sign spray painted with black paint.

300 block Oxford Valley Rd - Traffic control light post spray painted with white paint.

Oxford Valley Rd and Stony Hill Rd – Traffic control light post spray painted with white paint.

DUI and ACCIDENT – SR-332 and Creamery Rd at 5:55PM. Police responded to a two car accident with the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company. One driver had to be extricated from their vehicle and had injuries. Further investigation by police revealed that the driver of the striking vehicle was driving under the influence.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Heacock Rd and Covington Rd at 12:19AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 21 year old female occupant and the 25 year old male occupant were in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. Both to be charged with non-traffic citations.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

1600 block Powderhorn Dr reported at 10:33AM. A mailbox valued at $350 was damaged.

900 block Kathy Dr reported at 1:18PM. A vehicle was keyed overnight.

1000 block S. Kimbles Rd reported at 1:28PM. A mailbox was damaged overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

600 block Kathy Dr reported at 7:17PM. Sometime between 8:00PM on 8/9 and 5:45PM on 8/10, someone scratched “KKK” into the driver’s side door of the owner’s vehicle.

1300 block Brentwood Rd reported at 9:49PM. Four white male teens were observed operating a silver or blue sedan (4 door), and then smashed a mailbox with a baseball bat.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 200 block River Rd reported at 2:46PM. Victim reported finding the residence unlocked and drawers inside had been gone through. At this time a men’s platinum wedding band valued at $400, a CD box valued at $200 and $200 in foreign currency is missing.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 300 block Ramsey Rd reported at 11:21PM. The mailbox valued at $60 was damaged.

FRAUD – 1400 block Merrick Rd reported at 3:30PM. Someone used the complainants Discover card for unauthorized purchases totaling $225.

THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh Supermarket, reported at 5:11PM. The victim reported having her wallet taken while at the Super Fresh.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1000 block Buckingham Way reported at 7:52PM. Resident reports that a Trek road bicycle valued at $1,800 was taken from the attached garage and it is believed that this occurred on 8/8/10 about 5:00AM.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Black Rock Rd and Yardley-Morrisville Rd at 9:41PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to a 16 year old occupant in the vehicle being cited for the possession of alcohol.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 500 block Big Oak Rd reported at 1:40PM. Resident reports that sometime in the past week someone entered an unlocked detached garage and took a Dewalt cordless drill, Hawkhill bicycle and toys with a value of $700.

THEFT – 1000 block Buckingham Way reported at 3:01PM. Loose change was taken from the vehicle overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

1200 block Landmark Rd reported at 7:00PM. A mailbox valued at $500 was vandalized.

1200 block Landmark Rd reported at 2:25PM. A mailbox was damaged overnight.

THEFT – 1900 block Park Dr reported at 4:36PM. The resident reports that a jewelry box with its contents valued at about $8,000 was taken back in July 2010 by known actors.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1200 block Yardley Rd at 8:22PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the 16 year old occupant being cited.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 300 block Cedar Hollow Rd reported at 8:36PM. Resident reports that an outside cable wire was cut and someone urinated on the front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 8:57AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 22 year old male driver was in possession of counterfeit vehicle documents. He was taken into police custody.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Black Rock Rd reported at 1:26PM. Sometime overnight someone used a can of “Red Bull” and filled it with pebbles to damage a mailbox.

THEFT – 1600 block Kathy Dr reported at 9:38PM. Resident reports that someone took their son’s Gary Fisher mountain bicycle valued at $300.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – Schuyler Dr reported at 10:18PM. Police were advised of vehicle on Schuyler Dr and it was possibly disabled. Further investigation led to the discovery of four juveniles that were drinking in the woods and they will be issued citations.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

Woodside Rd at the Lower Makefield Golf Course reported at 6:22AM. Someone hacked the greens with golf clubs, wrote obscenities and placed a bowel movement in a cup on the course. Damaged is estimated at about $1,000.

1400 block Silo Rd reported at 3:20PM. A 16 year old juvenile placed a smoke bomb in a mailbox causing damage under $100. The juvenile was referred to Youth Aid.

DUI & DRUG POSSESSION – Newtown-Yardley Rd and Creamery Rd at 2:08PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 22 year old male for the possession of marijuana and driving under the influence.

RETAIL THEFT ARREST – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept Store, reported at 5:00PM. Loss prevention detained an 18 year old male and a 16 year old male for taking merchandise valued at $150. The two were released to the custody of the LMTPD for processing and parent notification.

THEFT – 1000 block Countess Dr reported at 3:55PM. A black Schwinn bicycle was reported taken.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Black Rock Rd and Stackhouse Dr reported at 12:25AM. Police conducted a pedestrian stop which led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. The two 16 year olds were issued citations and their parents notified.

THEFTS:

600 block Briarwood Ct reported at 1:00PM. Resident reports that a 14” Dell Inspiron laptop computer was taken from the vehicle.

1100 block Dickenson Dr reported at 1:14PM. Loose change was taken from the vehicle overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Rita Rd reported at 1:18PM. Sometime in the past 2 weeks someone poured a grass kill chemical in the shape of an “X” on the resident’s lawn.

DUI ARREST – Heacock Rd at 12:48AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle after the officer observed the vehicle being operated on a rim with tire pieces coming off. Further investigation led to the arrest of the male operator for driving under the influence.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W.Trenton Ave at 11:12AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 25 year old driver was in possession of marijuana.

DRUG ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd at US Route 1 at 2:07PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 20 year old driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and alcohol.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 100 block Mt. Eyre Rd reported at 9:39AM. The homeowner reported that at about 4:45AM he heard and also found that someone had thrown a landscape rock through a rear kitchen window, the persons(s) responsible fled.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 500 block Mill Rd reported at 11:57AM. The complainant reported observing a male jogger in his 20’s enter the garage and attempted to take a bicycle. The suspect wad confronted and fled the area.

RETAIL THEFT – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at the CVS, reported at 9:27PM. A store employee reported that a black male dressed as a woman wearing jeans and a pink tank top took several hygiene items and than dropped them while fleeing the store. The suspect was last seen fleeing in a Lincoln Town Car with N.J. registration plates.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF and THEFT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 7:02AM. Three victims reported that sometime after 10:00PM on 7/29/10 someone spray painted buildings and vehicles. Also the vehicles were keyed, glue was applied to the locks and the tires were slashed resulting in about $6,000 worth of damage. Two P.A. registration plates were also taken from the vehicles.

DRUG ARREST – River Rd and Michael Rd at 12:11PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the two 29 year old occupants for the possession of marijuana and for disorderly conduct.

SIMPLE TRESPASS – 900 block Roelofs Rd reported at 9:15AM. Police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle, this led to the occupants a 27 year old male and 25 year old female being issued citations for simple trespassing after being previously warned.

THEFT and VANDALISM – 400 block Lang Ct reported at 11:42PM. Two vehicles that were parked in the driveway were vandalized and a P.A. registration plate was also taken from one.

FORGERY – 300 block Oxford Valley Rd at a business, reported at 2:40PM. The complainant reported that a black male in his 40’s attempted to cash a check in the amount of $1,990.70.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 500 block Heritage Oak Dr reported at 2:58PM. A vehicle was egged overnight after 10:00PM.

THEFTS:

1200 block Big Oak Rd reported at 9:18PM. Someone removed an Everstart deep cell battery valued at $70 from the property.

Black Rock Rd and Delaware Canal at 9:52PM. The victim reported observing a white male about 5’8” to 5’9” and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt holding a horse saddle. The saddle was taken from the victim’s vehicle. The male dropped the saddle and fled on a motorcycle. The driver’s side window on the vehicle was smashed out and a turn signal was broken off the steering column.

DRUG ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 12:41PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the 22 year old male driver being cited for the possession of drug paraphernalia.

THEFTS:

600 block W. Melissa Cir reported at 7:55AM. Sometime overnight a GPS unit, briefcase and miscellaneous tools with a combined value of $340 were taken from the vehicle.

1000 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 10:58AM. A technician from AT&T reported finding the chain to the gated cell tower missing and copper wire valued at $5,000 was missing.

1000 block Drew Dr reported at 3:15PM. Sometime overnight someone entered the unlocked vehicle and took less than $5.00.

THEFTS:

600 block Nancy Rd reported at 11:05AM. Sometime overnight someone entered the vehicle took about $10 in change.

500 block Nancy Rd reported at 9:05AM. Sometime overnight someone entered the vehicle and took $5 in change and an Iphone.

DUI ARREST & ACCIDENT – 1200 block Big Oak Rd at 1:20AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, car vs. a tree. The 25 year old male driver is to be charged with driving under the influence.

DRUG ARREST – Cardinal Dr and Heacock Rd at 12:05AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of drugs and the 20 year old male occupant was taken into custody.
