Complainant reported confronting two juveniles who had soaped the windows with obscenities and threw a political sign into the foyer of the home. The juveniles were identified by the complainant, but the complainant did not want to pursue further charges. RETAIL THEFT – 1581 Big Oak Rd reported at 11:19AM. Store manager reported that thin white male about 20 – 25 years of age and about 5’10” with a goatee exited the store with 3 video games valued at $147. He was last seen fleeing in a white colored vehicle. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Upton Ln reported at 11:51AM. Complainant reported that overnight someone damaged the solar marker lights and then used one light to break out a garage window. The damage is estimated at about $150. 10/29/08 Retail Theft – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Wine & Spirits Shop reported at 8:34PM. Store employee reported that a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka valued at $57.99 was taken by a black male that entered the store. STOLEN VEHICLE – Unit block Black Rock Rd reported at 6:30AM. Victim reported that overnight someone took their 2007 Silver Volvo XC90 with a P.A. registration plate. A laptop was also inside the vehicle. THEFT FROM AUTO – 800 block River Rd reported at 9:03AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, car vs. deer. 10/26/08 RETAIL THEFT – 700 Stony Hill Rd Giant Supermarket at 7:06PM. A store employee reported observing a white female take about 7 cans of baby formula worth about $97.37. The female suspect exited the store and fled in a red pick up truck. 10/25/08 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY - 200 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 9:54AM. Victim reported that between 8:30AM and 9:50AM someone forced entry to the residence via a front door. A pillow case was removed from a bedroom and used to take items from the residence. THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the SuperFresh Supermarket, reported at 12:32PM. Middletown Township Police advised LMTPD about finding a pocketbook in a storm drain. The victim had her pocketbook taken at the SuperFresh on 10-23-08 and it contained various articles; identification and currency. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 900 block Big Oak Rd reported at 2:09AM. Police on patrol observed lights on inside a vacant home. Further investigation revealed that someone forced entry via a rear door. The residence is not occupied and there appeared to be no physical damage. 10/23/08 DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 10:59AM. The suspect a black male from New Jersey asked an officer on patrol for money. Further investigation by police led to the discovery of a crack pipe on the suspect. He also provided police with a false name, he was taken into custody. He was processed at police headquarters. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Dolington Rd and Farmview Dr at 8:02AM. Police responded to one vehicle accident, car vs. deer. The vehicle had to be towed. Two vehicles involved in the parking lot. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 600 block Leslie Ln reported at 2:52PM. Victim reported that between 8:00AM and 2:45PM someone entered the residence through an unlocked door. Jewelry, an X-Box and games were taken from inside. 10/22/08 NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 6:00PM. Police responded to a minor two vehicle accident. THEFT – 1100 block Yardley Rd reported at 10:29AM. Victim reported that sometime after 9:00PM someone entered the unlocked vehicle and took an I-pod Nano with the charger and auto adapters. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, reported at 4:48PM. Victim reported that someone spray painted political stickers that were affixed to the vehicle, this caused about $500 in damage. DISORDERLY CONDUCT / ARREST – I-95 southbound at 4:21PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. The driver was cited for the motor vehicle violations and the possession of the marijuana. 10/22/08 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES: 200 block River Rd reported at 6:08PM. Victim reported returning home and found forced entry to the residence via a back door. This occurred between 9:00AM and 6:00PM and at this time a $20 gold necklace and about $50 in currency was taken, 900 block Mt. Eyre Rd reported at 3:17PM. Victim reported returning home and found forced entry to the residence via a side basement door. This occurred between 12:15PM and 3:15PM and at this time a pillow case was removed from the residence, along with jewelry, coins and numerous watches. THEFT – 2000 block Farmview Dr reported at 8:23PM. Complainant reported that 2 pumpkins were taken from the outside of the residence. 10/21/08 COMMERCIAL BURGLARY – 1600 block Langhorne-Yardley Rd at the CVS, reported at 3:25AM. Police were advised of alarm activation at this location and on arrival a front glass panel window was found smashed out. The store had been entered and an interior video showed that a subject was inside and exited within short time. About $1,000 in damage occurred and cigarettes were taken. 10/20/08 RETAIL THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept. Store, reported at 12:35PM. Store security stopped a 31 year old female from Philadelphia for taking a $200 jacket. She was taken into custody by police and processed. THEFT FROM AUTO: 1000 River Rd at Macclesfield Park reported at 7:48AM. Victim reported parking his disabled auto in the park overnight. When he returned in the morning all the windows had been broken out and hunting, fishing and electronics valued at about $1,000 had been taken. 100 block Mt. Eyre Rd reported at 9:20AM. Complainant reported that a street sign was vandalized, pumpkins were smashed and a real estate sign was taken and thrown. THEFTS 200 block Farmview Dr reported at 9:15AM. Complainant reported that someone struck her car and left the area. Complainant found the striking vehicle on Delaware Rim Dr at another address and police were notified. DUI / ARREST – Unit block Delaware Rim Dr at 11:11PM. Police were investigating a hit and run accident on this street and they located the target vehicle that was involved with the accident. Further investigation revealed that male operator was driving the striking the vehicle, he was intoxicated. The driver failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. THEFT FROM AUTO: Unit block Milton Dr reported at 9:30AM. Victim reported that overnight someone entered the unlocked car and removed a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,800. Dove Rd reported at 4:59PM. The complainant reported being threatened by another male over money that was owed for a painting job. The suspect arrived at the complainant’s residence and he was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and processed. 10/16/08 DUI / ACCIDENT and ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd and Big Oak Rd at 7:43PM. An off duty police officer observed a vehicle strike a road sign and then rear end a stopped vehicle. On duty officers were called and the 49 year old female driver from Penndel was taken into custody for driving under the influence. 10/15/08 THEFT – 1700 block Partridge Rd reported at 10:02AM. Victim reported that overnight a purse containing about $300, credit cards, check books, credentials, cell phone and a GPS unit were taken from the unlocked vehicle. The total value of the theft is about $900. THEFT and CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 600 block Friar Dr reported at 11:46AM. Victim reported that a P.A. registration plate was taken from the vehicle overnight. Police responded to a one vehicle auto accident, car vs. guide rail. The 53 year old male driver failed to negotiate the turn and the vehicle struck the steel guide rail. Complainant reported that a motorcycle cover valued at $100 was taken overnight. RETAIL THEFT – 1641 Big Oak Rd at Kohls Dept Store, reported at 1:24PM. Store security reported that clothes valued at $180 were taken from the store. The actor(s) were last seen fleeing in silver Pontiac Grand Am with a P.A. registration plate. 10/10/08 RETAIL THEFT / ARREST – 1641 Big Oak Rd at Kohls Dept Store, reported at 2:30PM. Store security reported observing a female taking clothing and placing it onto her body, then exiting the store. Police arrived and was able to detain the female and she admitted taking the items valued at $93. The female was issued non- traffic citations and the items were recovered. THEFT FROM AUTOS: 2000 block Leedoms Dr. reported at 2:48PM. Victim reported that assorted items totaling about $3,600 were taken from the vehicle overnight. 2000 block Farmview Dr reported at 5:13PM. Complainant reported that a traffic cone valued at $10 was taken from the driveway. 10/9/08 DUI / ARREST – Willow Pond Dr and Oxford Valley Rd at 2:50AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed the male driver was driving under the influence and he was taken into custody and processed. 10/8/08 DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 24000 block Cornerstone Dr reported at 10:44PM. Complainant reported loud juveniles. Police arrived on scene and an 18 year old male from Levittown was cited for having a small amount of marijuana in his possession. 10/7/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Morgan Dr and Randolph Dr reported at 6:49AM. Complainant reported that the metal street post and street name sign were removed from the ground. The post was used earlier in the night to smash out and damage an LMTPD marked police vehicle. 900 block Randolph Dr reported at 6:49AM. Victim reported that two windows on the vehicle were smashed out overnight; the vehicle was parked in the street. 2100 block Stackhouse Dr reported at 1:57PM. Complainant reported that unknown person(s) spray painted rocks and trees in the wooded area by the canal. THEFT – 1500 block Candace Dr reported at 7:50AM. Complainant reported that their blue BFI trash container was taken from the residence overnight. This container was recovered during a criminal mischief incident that occurred near the residence. THEFT – Unit block Upper Hilltop Rd reported 9:15AM. Victim reported that he attempted to purchase a television from a website and he made a $2,900 payment thru Pay Pal. He never received a receipt for the TV. Two days later the website he went on to purchase the TV was shut down. FRAUD – 1200 block Polo Run Dr reported at 9:30AM. Victim reported losing a social security card and debit cards. Since the lost someone has opened a debit card account using her name and then made two unauthorized purchases totaling $200 from a gas station in Florida. The same person(s) also attempted to get an $18,000 loan from Wachovia Bank, but the transaction was never completed. 10/6/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2200 block Stackhouse Rd reported at 10:07PM. Victim reported that person(s) threw a propane tank through the front window of the residence causing about $1,000 in damage. 1400 block Candace Ln reported at 11:00PM. Victim reported that person(s) threw a BFI trash container through the rear window of the vehicle causing about $500 in damage. INSTITUTIONAL VANDALISM – 1100 Edgewood Rd at the LMTPD reported at 11:00PM. Police discovered that one of the marked police vehicles in the police parking lot area had been vandalized. Person(s) took a metal street sign post with the street sign attached and launched it into the driver’s side window. The window was smashed out; they also attempted to launch it thru the front windshield, but were not successful. If anyone was in the area of the LMT Municipal building around the 11:00PM hour and observed any suspicious vehicle hauling a metal post with the street name signs attached, you are asked to call the Lower Makefield Township Police Department; Detective Bureau at 215-493-4055. The criminal mischief incidents on Stackhouse Dr, Randolph Dr and Candace Ln that are in this report are believed to be related too this occurrence. MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – Oxford Valley Rd by US Route 1 at 7:07PM. Police on patrol observed a motor cyclist driving recklessly. The operator was stopped and further investigation revealed that he was habitual offender. The motorcycle was impounded and the operator issued multiple citations. INDECENT EXPOSURE / ARREST – Pine Grove Rd and Big Oak Rd reported at 8:09AM. The complainant reported to police that while riding on a Pennsbury School District bus a male operating an SUV pulled along side and was observed masturbating in the vehicle. With the help of a good witness who provided good registration plate information, detectives through their follow up investigation; were able to identify a suspect who resides in Levittown. An arrest of the male suspect has been made. 10/6/08 PUBLIC DRUNK – 9400 block Sheffield Rd reported at 4:46AM. Complainant reported that a drunk male was on the porch of the residential unit. On arrival police found the subject who was drunk and at the wrong address. He will be cited for public drunkenness. 10/5/08 DRUG ARREST – Yardley Rd by Shelley Ln at 12:45PM. Police on patrol stopped a male subject from Southampton, PA. Further investigation revealed that he was in the possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and processed. 10/4/08 SOLICITATION CITATION – Kings Rd by Countess Dr at 3:35PM. Complainant reported five solicitors in the area working for a home improvement company. Police located the subjects and one of them produced an LMT permit, however, the expiration date on the permit had been altered. All five subjects were cited. 10/3/08 THEFT – 1800 block Polo Run Dr reported at 9:21AM. Victim reported that the Florida registration plate for the work vehicle had been taken between 7/31/08 and this date. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 590 W. Trenton Ave at 9:16PM. Police responded to a minor two vehicle auto accident. 10/2/08 DUI / ARREST – 600 block E. Melissa Cir reported at 6:53PM. Police received a call about a suspicious vehicle. Further investigation revealed the male operator from Bensalem was driving a stolen vehicle out of Philadelphia; he also was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and the vehicle towed. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 200 block Reading Ave reported at 11:32AM. Complainant reported that the mailbox was knocked off the post. ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 600 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 12:53PM. Store employee reported that a large black male about 6’ and 270lbs and last seen wearing a green shirt attempted to purchase $500 in gift cards with a counterfeit $20 bill.
