On arrival police located the male driver and further investigation revealed that he was under the influence. The vehicle had to be removed by tow. Police responded to a one vehicle accident and the car had to be towed. 11/29/08 ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh Supermarket, reported at 10:30AM. A store employee reported observing a male subject acting suspiciously in the store while holding four cans of baby formula. When the male was approached he avoided several store employees and fled the store, where he was immediately picked up in an awaiting car. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor accidents on the day shift: 1600 block Big Oak Rd at Oxford Oaks Shopping Center – Two vehicles involved. Edgewood Rd – Two vehicles involved. 11/28/08 ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1900 block Satter Ct reported at 7:05PM. Complainant reported alarm activation at about 7:03PM and after investigation by the homeowner, it appears person(s) attempted to gain entry via a rear window. There were visible pry marks observed and the window was slightly ajar with the lock broken off. DUI / ARREST – Bluestone Dr and Fieldstone Ct at 1:53PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the driver was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody for processing. He was taken into custody and processed. 11/27/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 8:13PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries reported. ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY & ARREST – 600 block River Rd at 10:01AM. Complainant, the homeowner reported that a person was attempting to make entry into the residence via a rear door. The male defendant was startled by the homeowner and he fled the area on a bicycle. Police arrived on scene and were informed by Morrisville Borough Police that a male matching the description from the scene was observed by the Calhoun St. Bridge. LMTPD officers attempted to stop the male, but a foot chase ensued and the defendant was apprehended on the New Jersey side of the bridge. A records check by police indicated that he had warrants from Trenton and was released into their custody and sent to the Mercer County Prison. He still faces charges in LMT and will be detained for the Pennsylvania charges. 11/26/08 CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 1700 block North Dove Rd reported at 6:33PM. Complainant reported that someone fraudulent purchased an I-pod valued at $317 using their debit card. The item was shipped to an address in Newark, N.J. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 100 block Elbow Ln reported at 8:50AM. Complainant reported that a Pioneer stereo valued at $800 was taken from the vehicle overnight. ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – Unit block Manor Ln reported at 5:01PM. The complainant who was home at the time reported that a male was trying to gain access to the residence via a second floor window. Complainant reported hearing the sliding window moving and seeing a male figure. The subject fled on foot, but left behind an old 10 speed bicycle. 11/25/08 DRUG ARREST – Grindan Dr and Mill Rd at 9:42PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver was in possession of drugs. He was taken into custody for processing. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and I-95 at 6:10PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries, but both vehicles had to be towed. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 5700 block Spruce Mill Dr reported at 3:02PM. Complainant reported that music CD’s and a power cord were taken from both unlocked vehicles. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 100 block Dolington Rd at 3:37PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment. Yardley-Makefield Fire Company assisted with the entrapment and removal of one of the drivers. The injuries to the drivers of the vehicles are considered to be non-life threatening. 11/24/08 ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 700 Stony Hill Rd at the Giant, reported at 7:54PM. The store manager reported that a white male with dark hair, scruffy goatee and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt; attempted to take 4 DVD’s with a total value of $84. The actor fled in a newer model white Lincoln with a P.A. registration plate. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 5700 block Spruce Mill Dr reported at 9:07AM. Complainant reported that a wallet containing about $300 in cash and credit cards, plus a social security card, handicap placard and a cell phone were all taken from the unlocked vehicle. CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 600 block Pensdale Dr reported at 12:35PM. Complainant reported the fraudulent use of the TD Bank credit card. The total loss is in excess of $1,500. HIT and RUN AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and Cardinal Dr reported at 5:27PM. Complainant reported that her vehicle was struck by another vehicle, which then fled the scene. There is no description on the striking vehicle. 11/23/08 THEFT BY DECEPTION – 2000 block Trowbridge Dr reported at 5:59PM. Complainant reported hiring a contractor to install a bathroom inside the residence. The complainant wrote a check in the amount of $2,500 to the contractor for the purchase of materials. The check was cashed and the contractor was supposed to start work in August 2008. As of this report no work has been done. THEFT FROM VEHICLE - 2000 block Brookhaven Dr reported at 11:28PM. Complainant reported that about 50 music CD’s, a black CD case, Verizon phone charger and about $5 in loose change were taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight. ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLES: 2200 block Brookhaven Dr at 11:56PM. Police on patrol located a vehicle with an open glove box. Attempts to notify the owner were not successful. 2600 block Brookhaven Dr reported at 11:20PM. Complainant reported that someone entered the glove box of the vehicle and scattered personal items in the passenger compartment. Nothing appeared to be missing. The suspects were observed as being three males wearing dark hoodies and operating a dark colored car. 11/22/08 DUI / ARREST – Washington Crossing Rd and Stoopville Rd at 1:01AM. Police responded to the report of a disabled vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a dirt embankment. The 61 year old female driver from Perkasie, PA refused to provide a blood sample; she was taken into custody and processed. RECOVERED STOLEN AUTO – Mt. Eyre Rd and Taylorsville Rd at 3:57AM. Police on patrol found a 2001 Mercury unoccupied in the parking lot at this intersection. The car was reported stolen from another jurisdiction and when police found the car, the engine compartment was still warm. 11/21/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1200 block Evergreen Rd reported at 8:49AM. Complainant reported that at about 1:30AM someone threw eggs at the front door of the residence causing about $20 in damage. CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 200 block Clover Hill Ct reported at 9:08AM. Complainant reported that someone used their ING debit card charging about $276.85 from two different internet companies. The card was last used by the complainant at TGI Fridays at the Oxford Valley Mall. FRAUD – 600 block Township Line Rd reported at 12:24PM. Complainant reported that within the past 3 to 4 months someone removed a credit card from the desk drawer. The card was last used in November 2008 at a gas station in Bristol three times. THEFT – 1000 block Edgewood Rd at 1:00PM. Complainant reported that someone entered her vehicle and removed the vehicle’s registration along with other paperwork. 11/20/08 DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave and Route 13 at 4:30PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that male driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody for processing. THEFT – 300 block Saly Rd reported at 9:35AM. Complainant reported that between 11/7 and 11/19/2008 someone entered the unlocked vehicle and removed Kohl’s shopping bag which contained $60 worth of merchandise. THEFT – 200 block Rock Run Rd reported at 4:58PM. Complainant reported that $5,500 was taken from a humidor that was located in a master bedroom. The theft took place between 11/15 and 11/20/2008. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES: 20000 block Cornerstone Dr reported at 2:18PM. Complainant reported that between 5:15AM and 2:20PM this date person(s) pried open the front door of the apartment. Jewelry, an I-pod, and Dell laptop computer with a total value of about $3,800 were taken. 20000 block Cornerstone Dr reported at 5:43PM. Complainant was advised by the apartment personnel that the unit at this location had been burglarized. The complainant reported to police that nothing appears to have been taken. 11/18/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Yardley Rd and Ferry Rd at 10:24AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but towing of the vehicles was required. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 600 block Big Oak Rd reported at 5:30PM. Complainant reported that between 8:10AM and 5:15PM someone forced entry into the residence through a rear door. About $50 in loose change was taken from a dish inside the living room. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for providing false identification to police and other summary offenses. 11/15/08 DUI / ARREST – River Rd at the Yardley Boat Ramp at 3:45PM. Police were advised of a possible DUI driver in the area of E. Ferry Rd and River Rd. The target vehicle was located at the Boat access ramp off of River Rd and the male driver was found passed out in the driver’s seat. He was taken into custody by police. 11/14/08 HIT AND RUN AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd at 6:30PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident where one of the involved vehicles fled the scene before police arrival. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 9:25PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY – 590 W. Trenton Ave at the CVS Pharmacy reported at 12:00PM. Store manager reported that a heavy set black male entered the store at about 10:15AM and passed $80 worth of Counterfeit U.S. currency. The black male was last seen wearing a “dew rag”, yellow shirt and a reddish hooded sweatshirt. Complainant reported that the windshield on the vehicle was shattered overnight; it was possibly caused by a BB or pellet gun. 600 block Palmer Ln reported at 3:27PM. Complainant reported someone keyed the hood and both sides of the vehicle causing about $2,000 in damage. THEFT BY DECEPTION – 590 W. Trenton Ave at CVS Pharmacy reported at 10:52AM. Store manager reported that a black female used fraudulent checks to make two separate purchases from the store. The checks appeared to be altered and the total amount of the purchases was $353.45. ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM AUTO – 500 block Hearthstone Dr reported at 12:20PM. Complainant reported that someone attempted to gain entry to the vehicle by breaking the driver’s side window. There was a GPS unit in plain view, but it was not taken and the entry was unsuccessful. 11/11/08 DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave by Plaza Blvd at 11:00AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Bristol had drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Police took the male into custody for processing. THEFT – 900 block Roelofs Rd reported at 12:00PM. Complainant reported having some friends over at the residence on Monday night. On Tuesday morning the complainant went to the kitchen to take prescribed medication, the medicine was gone. 11/10/08 SUSPICIOUS PERSONS – 600 block Friar Dr reported at 9:39PM. The complainant reported that there were several juveniles inside the garage, but nothing appeared to be missing. RETAIL THEFT / ARREST – 1641 Big Oak Rd at Kohl’s Dept Store reported at 5:56PM. Store security observed a white female conceal clothing valued at $369.00. She was stopped by security and police were notified and she was taken into custody for processing. 11/9/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 5:16PM. Complainant reported that two patio lights valued at $60 were taken and then smashed in the street. 11/8/08 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 900 block Greenway Ave reported at 9:14AM. Victim reported that someone entered the unlocked garage and took a blue Trek 4500 bicycle valued at $450. It does not appear if anything else was taken. 11/7/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT / DUI ARREST – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 7:01PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with moderate injuries reported. The driver of the striking vehicle was taken into police custody after investigation revealed he was driving under the influence. UNDERAGE DRINKING – 26000 block Cornerstone Dr reported at 11:15PM. Police issued a non-traffic citation to a 17 year old male for drinking under age. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and I-95 at 4:04PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries, but one vehicle had to be towed. 11/5/08 IDENTITY THEFT – 1100 block University Dr reported at 11:15AM. Complainant reported that his driver’s license is suspended due to someone else in South Carolina using his information. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 100 block River Rd reported at 2:44PM. Victim reported coming home and discovered that a back door to the residence was kicked in. At this time it appears that jewelry, watches and computers were taken. A tan pillow case was also taken; this was probably used to transport some of the items. 11/4/08 DRUG POSSESSION and WANTED PERSON – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 9:33PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation, including a records check indicated that the 23 year old male from Levittown was wanted on a warrant out of Philadelphia. Police also discovered a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle and he was taken into custody for processing and sent to Bucks County Prison. 11/3/08 FRAUD – 1600 block Bluebird Dr reported at 1:39PM. Victim reported that someone fraudulently cashed two checks that were written to his handicapped wife in the total amount of $1,897.00. 11/2/08 DRUG ARREST – Sandy Run Rd and Edgewood Rd at 11:21PM. Police stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations and further investigation led to the three male occupants being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken into custody for processing. MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – Cardinal Dr and Bluebird Dr at 10:49PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the driver being issued citations for driving with a suspended license DUI related and other traffic offenses RETAIL THEFT – 1581 Big Oak Rd at the Blockbuster Video reported at 5:05PM. Store employee reported that two suspicious persons were inside the store removing wrappers off of DVD’s. The same two persons exited the store with DVD’s valued at $85 and fled in a Toyota Corolla. 11/1/08 DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1600 block Kathy Dr reported at 12:05AM. Complainant reported observing a small black vehicle occupied with three persons, who appeared to smoking marijuana. Police arrived on scene and observed the described vehicle travel south on River Rd at a high rate of speed. Police stopped the vehicle and the one of the occupants was cited for having a small amount of marijuana and also transporting beer and vodka. DUI / ARREST – I-95 and SR-332 at 5:39AM. Police were advised of a vehicle stopped on 95 in the northbound lanes, but facing southbound. Police found the vehicle occupied by three black males who were passed out. Further investigation revealed that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence. He was taken into custody for processing. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1500 block Brookfield Rd at 11:00AM. Complainant reported that someone removed a picket from the fence and also toiler papered the trees. The incident occurred on 10/30/08. 2100 block Ashley Rd reported at 1:08AM. Complainant reported that three persons dressed in dark hoodies had soaped the windows of the vehicle. 1400 block Heather Ridge Cir reported at 1:38AM. Complainant reported that persons soaped the windows and poured baking soda on the vehicle. DISORDELRY CONDUCT – Edgewood Rd and Schuyler Dr at 1:15AM. Police on patrol observed a small SUV in the back parking lot area of St. Ignatius Church. The vehicle was stopped and investigation revealed that the two occupants had been at a party and fled and were drinking. They were both cited for disorderly conduct. UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – 1000 block Reading Ave reported at 12:01AM. Police received a tip about a loud party and further investigation revealed a party. When police arrived on scene the juveniles began to flee from the residence. Police were able to apprehend several juveniles and they are being charged with underage drinking. The host of the party also fled the residence, but will also be facing charges related to the party. 10/31/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1200 block Landmark Rd reported at 9:49PM. Complainant reported that person(s) threw eggs at the front door, windows and walkway. There is no permanent damage. 1100 block Bancroft Ln reported at 10:42AM. Complainant reported that eggs were thrown at the vehicle overnight. 10/30/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Plymouth Ln reported at 9:49PM. Complainant reported confronting two juveniles who had soaped the windows with obscenities and threw a political sign into the foyer of the home. The juveniles were identified by the complainant, but the complainant did not want to pursue further charges. RETAIL THEFT – 1581 Big Oak Rd reported at 11:19AM. Store manager reported that thin white male about 20 – 25 years of age and about 5’10” with a goatee exited the store with 3 video games valued at $147. He was last seen fleeing in a white colored vehicle. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Upton Ln reported at 11:51AM. Complainant reported that overnight someone damaged the solar marker lights and then used one light to break out a garage window. The damage is estimated at about $150. 10/29/08 Retail Theft – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Wine & Spirits Shop reported at 8:34PM. Store employee reported that a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka valued at $57.99 was taken by a black male that entered the store. STOLEN VEHICLE – Unit block Black Rock Rd reported at 6:30AM. Victim reported that overnight someone took their 2007 Silver Volvo XC90 with a P.A. registration plate. A laptop was also inside the vehicle. THEFT FROM AUTO – 800 block River Rd reported at 9:03AM.
