Police on patrol observed a male juvenile and further investigation revealed that he was under the influence and he was cited for public drunkenness. 7/31/08 ATTEMPTED THEFT – Unit block Homestead Dr reported at 1:25AM. Complainant reported observing a white with dark hair and wearing a t-shirt and shorts going through their vehicle. Police responded with a K-9, but had negative results in locating the subject. Nothing was taken form the vehicle. 7/30/08 THEFT FROM AUTO – 600 block Woodford Dr reported at 11:48PM. Victim reported that a stereo face plate valued at $200 was taken from inside the vehicle between 2:00PM and 11:00PM. MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – US Route 1 and Oxford Valley Rd at 4:05PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and investigation led to further violations and multiple traffic citations being issued to the operator for inspection violations and counterfeit inspection stickers. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 400 block Ramsey Rd reported at 7:53AM. Complainant reported that overnight someone knocked over the mailbox causing about $100 in damage. DISORDERLY CONDUCT CITATIONS – 600 block Tomlinson Ln reported at 11:16PM. Police advised of person(s) deploying large size fireworks by the residence. Police arrived on scene and the defendant refused to open the door. Evidence of the fireworks was observed on the ground and the defendant is to be cited for disorderly conduct. 7/29/08 TRESPASSING CITATIONS – 1050 Edgewood Rd – LMT Pool Complex at 2:06AM. Police observed several persons on a surveillance camera that were in the pool. When police units responded to the scene, some of the actors had fled. Several others were detained and cited for trespassing. Some clothing items and identification of the actors that fled were left behind. The investigation is continuing and further citations to be issued. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 1800 block Polo Run Dr reported at 4:54AM. Victim reported that someone entered the vehicle and took about $60 worth of items. 7/28/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1000 block S. Kimbles Rd at 6:32PM. Victim reported that someone poured chocolate syrup and mustard on the vehicle overnight and also this evening. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Unit block Oxford Valley Rd by US Route 1 at 8:35PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, a motorcyclist went down on the roadway. The male operator struck the median and lost control of the motorcycle, throwing him off the cycle. He sustained multiple injuries, including head trauma. THEFT OF VEHICLE – 1700 block Kathy Dr reported at 11:00PM. Victim reported that a burgundy 1991 Honda Accord with P.A. registration plates was stolen on 7/25/08 from this address. THEFT FROM AUTO – 700 block Gordon Dr reported at 6:44AM. Victim reported that between 12:01AM and 1:30AM someone smashed a window on the vehicle and removed clothing items. Apparently the clothing contained $2,000 in cash. THEFT FROM AUTOS – Police took further reports of theft from autos at the following locations: Tomlinson Ln, Wrensong Rd and South Dove Rd – These streets are all located in the Heacock Meadows Development. DISORDERLY CONDUCT CITATIONS – Pevsner Rd and Daleview Rd at 2:36PM. Police responded to juveniles in the woods at this location and investigation revealed that some were in the possession of marijuana. Five 16 year old male juveniles were cited for the possession. 7/27/08 THEFT – 400 block Kathy Dr reported at 7:50PM. Victim reported that CD’s valued at about $2,000 were taken from the residence. Victim reported that the tires on the vehicle were flattened and there are scratches in the paint. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 500 block Countess Dr reported at 8:54AM. Victim reported that at about 10:30PM on 7/26 someone destroyed the mailbox with fireworks. A neighbor saw a vehicle and provided the information to the victim. The actors involved in the incident have been identified and police are still investigating. DUI / ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 1:39AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Southampton was driving under the influence. 7/26/08 THEFT FROM AUTO – 1000 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 7:44AM. Victim reported that overnight someone forced entry to the vehicle via a rear window. A laptop computer and check book were reported stolen. Victim reported that 6 to 7 charges were made on the Capital One credit card that totaled about $700. A suspect may be known to the victim. ATTEMPTED THEFT – 1500 block Brock Creek Dr reported at 1:45AM. Complainant reported observing a dark vehicle pull up to their vehicle and someone looking into the interior of their car. Complainant reported that two juveniles broke two flower pots and the fled leaving behind a child’s bicycle on the property. Victim reported that overnight the rear window of the vehicle was smashed out. 800 block Sumter Dr reported at 3:40PM. Victim reported that the driver’s side tail light was smashed out overnight. WANTED PERSON – Township Line Rd at 12:43AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and a records checked indicated that the 28 year old male from Levittown was wanted out of Philadelphia for a probation violation. He was taken into custody and transferred to the Philadelphia Warrant Unit. THEFT and ASSAULT – 1300 block Edgewood Rd reported at 2:43AM. The 20 year old male victim reported having a beer party at the residence and only one other person was known to him. His female friend apparently invited other persons to the party and they were not known to him. Some of these persons removed computer hardware, jewelry and household items from the residence. The 20 year old was also assaulted during the confrontation by the suspects. The incident is still being investigated by police. 7/24/08 THEFTS: 500 block Gordon Dr reported at 6:47PM. Victim reported that about $30 worth of gas was taken from the vehicle. 500 block Claredon Ct reported at 6:58AM. Victim reported that a laptop computer was taken from the vehicle overnight; there was no sign of forced entry. 7/23/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 700 block West Melissa Cir reported at 11:40PM. Complainant reported that someone threw eggs at the residence. MEDICAL EMERGENCY – 500 block Stony Hill Rd at 3:16PM. Severe thunderstorms rolled into the area. A 21 year old female and 3 year old male were struck by lightning at the Brookside Swim Club. They were attempting to seek more secure shelter when they passed a tree that was simultaneously struck by lightning. Both were knocked to the ground and have since recovered from their injuries. 7/22/08 MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 4:27PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations, counterfeit inspection stickers. Further investigation revealed that the registration plate did not belong to the vehicle or the operator. The operator received multiple traffic citations. 7/21/08 THEFT – 400 block Big Oak Rd reported at 9:08AM. Victim reported that someone took a 12 foot rowing boat from the property. THEFT – 1900 block Westover Rd reported at 12:10PM. Victim reported that a home health aid worker was assigned to the residence from March to June. During that time, several pieces of jewelry, a watch, Sony camcorder, camera and crystal went missing. The value of the items missing is totaled at about $6,230.00. Police responded to a call of a male subject that smashed the windshield of his own vehicle with a bat. The subject had left the area, but returned driving the car. Further investigation revealed that the male was under the influence and he was taken into custody. FRAUD – 200 block Ballytore Ct reported at 2:49PM. Victim reported that unauthorized charges were on the debit card in the amount of $400. 7/17/08 THEFT – 1200 block Colts Ln reported at 7:12AM. Complainant reported that a white male operating an older model Dodge pick up took the owner’s recycle garbage can. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block Barnswallow Rd reported at 10:58AM. Complainant reported that someone threw a golf ball through a window screen of the residence. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Mt. Pleasant Dr at Oxford Valley Rd at 3:12PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. The operator fell asleep and the vehicle left the roadway and struck some guide wires that are attached to a PECO utility pole. Victim reported that the mailbox valued at $125 was destroyed sometime Saturday morning. CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 1200 block Clearview Dr reported at 3:30PM. The victim may know who is responsible. IDENTITY THEFT - 2900 block Lynbrooke Dr reported at 11:43AM. Victim reported that someone used his personal information to open several fraudulent credit accounts. Accounts were opened at Value City, Kohl’s, Chase and HSBC Bank and the actor used a rental mailbox out of Newark, N.J. 7/14/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 300 block Ramsey Rd at 6:40PM. Police responded to a three vehicle accident. The striking vehicle was trying to avoid oncoming traffic and struck two parked cars. Towing of the striking vehicle required. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF / GRAFFITI – 1000 block River Rd reported at 11:25AM. Police observed several “tags” spray painted on the underside of the railroad bridge at this location. A suspect has been named and further investigation by police is ongoing. 7/12/08 ASSAULT / ARREST – 600 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 9:06PM. Victim reported that during a custody exchange, the male defendant assaulted him. The victim sustained a broken nose and a small cut. The defendant was taken into custody and processed. Police located two subjects that were soliciting for a company called Power Windows and Siding. Both were issued citations for soliciting without a permit. The person(s) attempted to transfer $3,500.00 in funds to pay the bill. The victim’s financial institution caught the action before it was authorized. 7/9/08 THEFT FROM AUTO – Unit block Oak Ave reported at 7:25AM. Victim reported that overnight someone took about $10 in loose change from the vehicle. THEFT FROM AUTO – Unit block Walnut Ln reported at 8:20AM. Victim reported that overnight someone took about $60 from the vehicle and another vehicle was entered, but nothing was taken. 7/8/08 DISORDERLY CONDUCT / CITATIONS – 1100 block Colts Ln reported at 9:35PM. Police responded to a residence for a report of projectiles that were fired from a potato gun. The complainant reported that several projectiles landed near the property. Police spoke with the defendant who admitted to firing the potato gun and was issued non-traffic citations. ATTEMPTED THEFT / ARREST – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh, reported at 2:34PM. Complainants reported seeing two persons going through various vehicles in the parking lot. Both suspects were located at the Shell station and witnesses positively identified the suspects, they were then taken into custody and processed. 7/7/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and Heacock Rd at 8:12PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident, with one occupant being transported to the hospital. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1300 block Bluestone Dr reported at 4:56PM. Victim reported that sometime over the weekend the car and the pool liner were damaged. 7/6/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 400 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 6:41PM. Victim reported that overnight someone threw eggs at the residence and vehicles. 7/5/08 DUI ARREST / ACCIDENT – Pine Grove Rd by Big Oak Rd at 9:39PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. The vehicle rolled over into the woods at the curve and the male operator from LMT was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver was also processed for driving under the influence. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 900 block Queens Dr reported at 11:00AM. Victim reported that overnight someone placed a firework in the mailbox, which then exploded and damaged it. DUI / ARREST – 800 block River Rd at 5:31PM. Police were advised of a reckless driver and located the target vehicle. The 28 year old male driver was taken into custody and processed. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and Pinegrove Rd at 10:25AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident after the striking vehicle disregarded a steady red signal and struck another vehicle. The impact caused the struck vehicle to spin and overturn and the driver of that vehicle sustained moderate injuries; as did the driver of the striking vehicle. 7/4/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1100 block Kenneth Ln reported at 10:07PM. Complainant reported the neighbor’s mailbox was on fire and the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company responded and extinguished the fire. 7/3/08 THEFT – 300 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 4:32PM. Victim reported that someone intercepted a FedEx package containing an Alien Computer and speakers, which were destined for this residence. The package was delivered to the residence at 10:59AM on 6/17/08 and was signed for by an unknown person. The value of the items taken totaled to $6,150.00. 7/2/08 THEFT FROM AUTO – 200 block Wildflower Cir reported at 8:47AM. Victim reported that overnight someone removed two GPS units, an I-pod and a Dell LCD projector with a total value of $2,550.00 from the victim’s vehicles.
