Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 20 year old driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and alcohol. ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 100 block Mt. Eyre Rd reported at 9:39AM. The homeowner reported that at about 4:45AM he heard and also found that someone had thrown a landscape rock through a rear kitchen window, the persons(s) responsible fled. ATTEMPTED THEFT – 500 block Mill Rd reported at 11:57AM. The complainant reported observing a male jogger in his 20’s enter the garage and attempted to take a bicycle. The suspect wad confronted and fled the area. 7-30-10 RETAIL THEFT – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at the CVS, reported at 9:27PM. A store employee reported that a black male dressed as a woman wearing jeans and a pink tank top took several hygiene items and than dropped them while fleeing the store. The suspect was last seen fleeing in a Lincoln Town Car with N.J. registration plates. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF and THEFT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 7:02AM. Three victims reported that sometime after 10:00PM on 7/29/10 someone spray painted buildings and vehicles. Also the vehicles were keyed, glue was applied to the locks and the tires were slashed resulting in about $6,000 worth of damage. Two P.A. registration plates were also taken from the vehicles. Police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle, this led to the occupants a 27 year old male and 25 year old female being issued citations for simple trespassing after being previously warned. Someone removed an Everstart deep cell battery valued at $70 from the property. Black Rock Rd and Delaware Canal at 9:52PM. The victim reported observing a white male about 5’8” to 5’9” and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt holding a horse saddle. The saddle was taken from the victim’s vehicle. The male dropped the saddle and fled on a motorcycle. The driver’s side window on the vehicle was smashed out and a turn signal was broken off the steering column. A technician from AT&T reported finding the chain to the gated cell tower missing and copper wire valued at $5,000 was missing. 1000 block Drew Dr reported at 3:15PM. Sometime overnight someone entered the vehicle took about $10 in change. 500 block Nancy Rd reported at 9:05AM. Sometime overnight someone entered the vehicle and took $5 in change and an Iphone. DUI ARREST & ACCIDENT – 1200 block Big Oak Rd at 1:20AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, car vs. a tree. The 25 year old male driver is to be charged with driving under the influence. DRUG ARREST – Cardinal Dr and Heacock Rd at 12:05AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of drugs and the 20 year old male occupant was taken into custody. 7-24-10 UNDERAGE DRINKING – 2000 block Leedoms Dr reported at 10:50PM. Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. On arrival police were given entry to the residence and officers found juveniles hiding in the basement and alcohol on the premises. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 39 year old male driver for driving under the influence. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY – 1300 block Woodside Rd reported at 9:25AM. The complainant reported that several out buildings at the radio tower site were forcibly entered. The entry occurred at about 7:00PM and copper buss bars were taken. THEFTS: 1600 block Delaware Rim Dr reported at 8:48AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident car vs. utility pole. Further investigation led to the discovery that the 19 year old male driver was under the influence and also in possession of heroin. The residence was egged sometime in the past week. 7-19-10 WANTED PERSON – Heacock Rd and Covington Rd at 12:21PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation and a records check of the 30 year old male indicated he was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Philadelphia. Further investigation also resulted in the seizure of an illegal narcotic. Charges for the possession of the narcotic are being filed. The subject was taken into custody for the warrant. 7-18-10 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd by Old Oxford Valley Rd at 7:54PM. Police and Yardley-Makefield Fire Comp. responded to a one vehicle accident with entrapment. The operator of the vehicle lost control and the vehicle struck a utility pole and flipped on its side. The driver had to extricated by responding EMS personnel. DUI ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 1:51AM. Overnight someone broke a windshield on a vehicle with a wooden object that was taken from another residence. THEFT – 300 block Michael Rd reported at 12:44PM. $1,500.00 in currency was taken from the residence in the past few weeks, possibly by known subjects. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations which resulted in the arrest of the 21 year old male driver for driving under the influence and having a small amount of marijuana in his possession. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1900 block Timber Lakes Dr reported at 7:14PM. The homeowner reported that between 11:15AM and 5:30PM someone forcibly entered the residence via a side door. At this time a laptop computer and necklace are missing. A possible suspect vehicle, a Nissan Pathfinder may have been seen in the driveway. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – Unit block Mt. Eyre Rd reported at 3:02PM. The homeowner reported returning home to find that the residence had been entered forcibly via the front door. At this time a jewelry box with its contents valued at about $30,000 is missing. 7-14-10 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 700 block Long Acre Ln reported at 9:45AM. A mailbox valued at $60 was damaged overnight. VEHICLE THEFT – 1400 block Polo Run Dr reported at 7:27PM. A black 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja motorcycle with N.J. registration valued at $10,000 was taken sometime since 7/12/10. The residence and some vehicles at this location have been vandalized several times since 7/3. Clean up costs are estimated to be at about $100. The 17 year old juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct. 7/10/10 DUI & AUTO ACCIDENT – Makefield Rd and Roelofs Rd at 10:30PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident motorcycle vs. SUV. The male operator of the SUV was taken into police custody for driving under the influence and transported to police headquarters for processing. The operator of the motorcycle was admitted to the hospital. THEFTS: 1000 block Darby Dr reported at 8:30PM. Overnight of 7/7/10, $10 in loose change, a $30 cigar lighter and 5 cigars valued at $15 were taken from the unlocked vehicle. 400 block Kings Rd reported at 9:05AM. A GPS valued at $150 was taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight. WANTED PERSON – Oxford Valley Rd by US Route 1 at 2:09AM. Police on patrol came upon a disabled vehicle on the roadway. A records check of the male driver indicated a warrant out of Bucks County. The male was taken into custody for the Sheriff’s Department.
