Complainant reports that someone used personal checks to make several unauthorized purchases totaling about $3,723.18. The complainant’s check book had been stolen from a vehicle in August 2009. 11/29/09 MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 10:12PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the female operator was driving with a suspended license and had other multiple violations. The vehicle was towed and the operator issued multiple traffic citations. THEFTS: 500 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 9:00AM. Complainant reports that an inflatable Santa Claus valued at $50 was taken overnight. 1500 block Pownal Dr reported at 4:11PM. Complainant reports that an inflatable Santa Claus valued at $200 was taken overnight. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Unit block St. James Pl. reported at 9:50AM. UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – 1600 block Meetinghouse Ln reported at 1:43AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. This stop led to the further investigation of an underage drinking party. 22 non-traffic citations were issued to the underage juveniles and 6 other participants fled on foot at police arrival. 11/27/09 DUI ARREST – Heacock Rd and Covington Rd at 12:00AM. Police responded to the report of a hit and run accident. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 38 year old female from LMT for driving under the influence. She was taken into custody and processed. 11/25/09 COUNTERFEIT CHECKS – 300 block Floral Vale Blvd reported at 11:56AM. The complainant for a company reports that someone used counterfeit checks by using the companies account number on the checks. A total of $4,800 in checks has been cashed to date. 11/24/09 DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 10:35PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of Sherman Williams, age 21 of Trenton, New Jersey for the possession of drugs. He was taken into custody. 11/24/09 DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Knightsbridge Dr and Big Oak Rd at 2:54AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation revealed that the 25 year old driver from Lower Makefield was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He is being issued a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct. 11/23/09 DUI ARREST – Edgewood Rd and Whitehall Ln at 10:57PM. Police responded to a one vehicle auto accident, vehicle vs. a utility pole. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 39 year old female from Lower Makefield for driving under the influence. PECO also responded out to replace the utility pole. DUI ARREST – Big Oak Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 1:51AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations in the area of the Shell Station. Further investigation revealed that the driver was driving under the influence and taken into custody for processing. 11/22/09 DUI ARREST – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at 1:50AM. Police on patrol were investigating a vehicle in the parking lot area of the shopping center; the vehicle had fresh damage from a recent accident. The male driver who was under the influence, was taken into police custody for processing. 11/20/09 THEFT – 500 block South Dove Rd reported at 1:15PM. Complainant reports that sometime on 10/26/09 someone entered the vehicle and removed a Best Buy credit card and an Ipod, which is valued at about $400. The credit card was used at Best Buys to purchase items totaling about $999.00. 11/19/09 WANTED PERSON – West Trenton Ave at 2:00PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that Karen Izzi age 37 from Levittown was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Philadelphia. She was taken into custody for processing and transferred to Phila. Warrant Unit. 11/18/09 IDENTITY THEFT – Pepperbush Ct reported at 9:00AM. Complainant reports that someone opened multiple T-Mobile accounts and about $3,278 in charges have been posted to the account by utilizing the complainant’s family information. ATTEMPTED FRAUD – 700 block Briarwood Ct reported at 1:19PM. Complainant reports receiving an automated phone call and the caller identified themselves as a collection agency. The caller requested credit card information for payment. The complainant did not provide the information. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-532 and Stoopville Rd at 2:54PM. Police responded to a two vehicle auto accident. DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1100 block Quarry Rd reported at 4:02PM. Police responded to a call of a trespasser at the residence. A 33 year old female from LMT was taken into police custody and processed at headquarters. 11/16/09 THEFT – Big Oak Rd at the Exxon Station reported at 11:03AM. Complainant reports that overnight someone removed a lock from the exterior soda machine. About $25 was taken from the machine. 11/15/09 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Langhorne-Yardley Rd and Polo Run Dr at 6:34AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident; car vs. a utility pole. THEFT – 500 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 2:00PM. Complainant reports that sometime overnight scaffolding valued at about $1,000 was taken. 11/14/09 DRUG ARREST – E. Ferry Rd and River Rd at 3:40PM. Police on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 40 year old male from Bristol for possessing drug paraphernalia. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT & BUILDING DAMAGE – 700 block Stony Hill Rd at the Lower Makefield Shopping Center at 8:20PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries. The male operator of the striking vehicle suffered from a medical condition and the vehicle drove across the parking lot striking a parked vehicle. This caused the struck vehicle to crash into the Little Dragon Chinese Restaurant. There was damage to the front of the building and only minor injuries were reported. DUI ARREST – Stony Hill Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 2:40AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. Further investigation revealed that the 35 year old female operator was driving under the influence. She was taken into custody for processing. VEHICLE THEFT – 5400 block Spruce Mill Dr reported at 9:30AM. Victim reports that a 2002 silver Mitsubishi Lancer with P.A. registration plates was taken sometime overnight. FRAUD – Unit block Morningside Dr reported at 4:41PM. Complainant reports that a former family member opened a credit card account in another state using the complainant’s name. So far about $1,000 has been charged to the card. 11/11/09 DUI ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd and Dobry Rd at 11:34PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 36 year old male driver for driving under the influence. THEFT – 1300 block Sweet Bell Ct reported at 8:28AM. Complainant reports that sometime overnight someone removed about $25 worth of clothing from the front porch. 11/10/09 RETAIL THEFT – 700 block Stony Hill Rd at the Giant reported at 1:52PM. Store employees reported that food valued at $14.00 was taken. Further investigation by police led to the person who took the items and that person was contacted. The actor admitted to the theft and agreed to make payment. No charges are being filed by Giant. 11/9/09 THEFTS: 900 block Randolph Dr reported at 8:15PM. Complainant reports that sometime between July and this date various items; including prescription drugs and two watches are missing from the residence. 500 block Kathy Dr reported at 3:45PM. Complainant reports that jewelry valued at about $2,000 was taken from the residence. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 2100 block Wellington Rd reported at 10:45AM. Complainant reports that a GPS and about 100 music CD’s with a total value of $1,820 were taken from the unlocked vehicle. RETAIL THEFT ARREST – 1600 block Langhorne-Yardley Rd at the CVS, reported at 12:22PM. Store employees report that a 55 year old female was being detained in the store for taking merchandise. She was taken into police custody and processed. 11/8/09 DUI ARREST – 1400 block Makefield Rd at 5:07PM. Police responded to a one vehicle auto accident, car vs. a utility pole. The 50 year old male driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence. In addition the defendant faces charges for drug paraphernalia and drug possession. DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Oxford Valley Rd and Heacock Rd at 1:44AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the 21 year old driver being issued a non-traffic citation for possession of a small amount of marijuana. 11/6/09 RETAIL THEFT ARREST – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept Store, reported at 1:54PM. Store security detained two females, a 24 year old and a 23 year old for allegedly taking merchandise valued at $642.17 from the store. Further investigation by police also revealed that their vehicle was loaded with merchandise from various other retail stores located outside of Lower Makefield Twp. Police responded to a report of a vehicle that was off the roadway. The 30 year old female driver from Langhorne was taken into custody for driving under the influence. 11/3/09 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT - River Rd by East Ferry Rd at 6:18PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, a car drove off the roadway and landed on its side. Minor injuries to the driver were reported. 11/3/09 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 2200 block Stackhouse Dr reported at 12:05AM. The victim reports being awoke by an unknown male subject who had entered the residence via a rear window. The male was described as about 6’0” with olive skin, in his 20’s to 30’s, medium build and a mustache and last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweat shirt. He was armed with what appeared to be a pry bar. The burglar demanded that the victim hand over her wallet. The victim gave the suspect her purse and then he fled the residence on foot in the direction of Black Rock Rd. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1100 block Edgewood Rd reported at 12:05AM. Complainant reports that a large size political size was damaged between 11:00PM and 12:00AM. 11/2/09 IDENTITY THEFT – 2200 block Waterford Rd reported at 8:20AM. Complainant reports receiving information that two credit cards were opened in her name, but they were both cancelled. A credit report revealed that the social security number was used in five other applications. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1100 block Long Meadow Ln reported at 10:54AM. Complainant reports damage from a BB gun to the front door window and garage window of the residence, resulting in about $2,500.00 in damages. |
