3/31/09

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd by Pine Grove Rd at 8:00PM. Police responded to a three vehicle accident.

WANTED PERSON & ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 2:36PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver had a warrant for a probation violation. He was taken into custody for arraignment.

3/30/09

WANTED PERSON & ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 4:22PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and a records check led to the arrest of the 28 year old male driver from Philadelphia. He was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant and was taken into custody.

DUI & DRUG ARREST – Heacock Rd at 12:49AM. Police patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 40 year old male driver from LMT for driving under the influence, the possession of marijuana and for also possessing a prohibited offensive weapon. He was taken into custody for processing and arraignment.

3/28/09

RETAIL ARREST – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept. Store, reported at 3:24PM. Store security observed two females taking merchandise and not making payment. The two 17 year old female juveniles were transported to police headquarters for processing. One female took merchandise worth $76.00 and the other took merchandise worth $276.00.

DUI & ARREST – Big Oak Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 1:49AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 55 year old male driver from Langhorne was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody for processing.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police on the day shift responded to several minor accidents:

Big Oak Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 7:47AM. Two vehicles involved.

SR-332 and I-95 at 9:25AM. Two vehicles involved.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Pine Grove Rd and Big Oak Rd at 12:37PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with towing required.

3/26/09

ROBBERY & ARREST – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center reported at 3:21PM. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a robbery / purse snatch in progress. On arrival police arrested two white males, age 22 and 23; after some alert store employees chased one of the actor’s toward the Yardley Corners development. Police apprehended a second actor near the Sovereign Bank in the shopping center. The victim’s purse was recovered by police and the two actors were transported to police headquarters for processing and arraignment.

THEFT – 1100 Edgewood Rd at the township complex grounds, reported at 5:00PM. An alert township employee observed two subjects, a male and female loading sign poles / posts into a van. They were confronted by the employee and off loaded the poles and then fled. The female was identified as being from Fairless Hills, PA and the male from Philadelphia. The female suspect involved came to police headquarters to give a statement. The investigation by police is ongoing with charges pending.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 by Stony Hill Rd at 8:41PM. Police responded to a three vehicle accident with towing required.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Floral Vale Blvd at the business complex, reported at 4:56PM. Complainant reported that the ground lighting around the clock tower has been damaged.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police on the day shift responded to several minor auto accidents:

Yardley Rd and Pine Grove Rd at 1:43PM. Two vehicles involved.

SR-332 and I-95 at 9:24AM. Two vehicles involved.

THEFT – Unit block Rickert Dr reported at 10:19AM. Complainant reported that between 3/19 and 3/22/09 someone removed from the vehicle a JVC Camcorder and two gift certificates with a total combined value of $485.

FRAUD – Unit block Hillside Ln reported at 8:30PM. Complainant reported that someone opened Kohl’s credit card account utilizing the complainant’s identity.

3/21/09

FRAUD – 800 block Roelofs Rd reported at 10:20AM. Complainant reported receiving a bill in the mail in the amount of $1,719.32 from a company for services from Apple. The complainant reported that nothing was ordered or received from Apple.

DUI & ARREST – SR-532 and Stoopville Rd at 12:25AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the female driver from Ivyland, PA for driving under the influence.

DUI & ARREST – 1300 block Apple blossom Dr at 12:56AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the female driver from Trenton, NJ for driving under the influence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 400 block Hidden Oaks Dr reported at 12:16AM. Complainant reported that the front of the house was egged, causing about $20 in damage.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Heacock Rd and Stony Hill Rd at 3:02PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. The vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole, no injuries were reported.

3/19/09

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Taylorsville Rd by Maplevale Dr at 7:25PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, the vehicle struck a deer.

FRAUD – 1700 block N. Dove Rd reported at 8:00PM. Complainant reported that an unauthorized withdraw was made from the complainant’s VISA debit card. The card was used online at Walmart.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and I-95 at 5:35PM. Police responded to three vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but one vehicle was removed by tow.

3/17/09

THEFT – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center; reported at 10:39AM. Complainant reported that a wallet, $40 cash and credit cards were taken from the unlocked vehicle.

DUI & ARREST – Stony Hill Rd and SR-332 at 8:36PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident. Further investigation revealed that the male driver of one vehicle from Newtown was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd at 6:15AM. Police responded to a single vehicle accident, the car rolled over and the driver sustained minor injuries.

3/14/09

UNDERAGE DRINKING – 800 block Big Oak Rd at 6:48PM. Police responded to the report of a juvenile male that was under the influence. The male juvenile will be cited for underage drinking.

THEFT – 500 block Cedar Hollow Dr reported at 10:11PM. Complainant reported that a known person took $60 in cash while inside the residence and the complainant was in another room.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – College Ave and Fairway Dr at 9:16AM. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle and further investigation led to the 20 year old male being cited for underage drinking.

3/12/09

DRUG ARREST – SR-332 and I-95. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 27 year old driver for the possession of drugs. He was taken into custody and processed.

3/10/09

THEFT – 1000 block Yardley Rd reported at 9:03AM. Complainant reported that sometime overnight someone removed change and keys from the vehicle.

THEFT – 700 block Big Oak Rd at St. Johns Catholic Church reported at 4:08PM. Complainant reported that on 3/7/09 between 5:30PM and 6:30PM someone removed a cell phone from the vehicle. A witness observed a juvenile running thru the parking lot with latex gloves on.

3/9/09

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 2200 block Stackhouse Dr reported at 7:36PM. The complainant reported that sometime today between 9:40AM and 5:40PM entry was made to the house via a rear door. At this time it appears that jewelry and prescribed medication was taken with a combined value of about $7,000.

THEFTS:

1000 block Stony Hill Rd at the Hampton Inn, reported at 7:18AM. Several complainant’s who were staying at the Hampton Inn reported that their vehicles were entered forcibly overnight and items were taken. Items taken include a GPS and audio CD’s with a value of about $400. Taken from a second vehicle were a GPS and a Canon camera taken with a combined value of $1,300. Taken from a third vehicle was a GPS valued at about $350.

THEFT – 600 block Fox Hollow Rd reported at 2:13PM. Complainant reported that sometime after 2/6/09 someone entered a storage shed and removed furniture valued at about $200.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 2200 block Stackhouse Dr reported at 4:39PM. The complainant reported that after 12:55PM today someone forced entry to the residence via the rear and the basement was ransacked. The upper floors of the home were also found ransacked and at this time a 19” TV and a Nintendo Wi game system with a combined value of about $650 are missing.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W.Trenton Ave at 3:20PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of 20 year old male driver from Levittown for the possession of drugs. He was taken into custody and processed.

DUI & ARREST – Pine Grove Rd at 3:20AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the female driver from New Jersey. She was driving under the influence and taken into custody for processing.

3/7/09

THEFT – 1400 block Heather Cir reported at 7:16PM. Complainant reported that magnetic signs valued at $300 were taken off the work truck.

THEFT – 600 block Floral Vale Blvd reported at 1:50PM. Complainant reported that an employee of the company fraudulently charged merchandise to the company’s credit card.

WANTED PERSON – 500 block W.Trenton Ave reported at 3:57PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to two persons being wanted on outstanding warrants from Bucks County. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to police headquarters to await pick up by Bucks County Sheriff.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – 200 block Reading Ave at 11:59PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to six juveniles being issued non-traffic citations for underage drinking and some drug paraphernalia was also found.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 200 block Elm Ave reported at 6:35PM. Complainant reported that the residence was entered today between 1:40PM and 6:30PM. Entry to the residence was made through the rear. As of this time the following items are reported to be missing: An X-Box with the games, jewelry and a calculator.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 500 block W.Trenton Ave reported at 2:31PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the 21 year old driver being cited for being in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

WANTED PERSON – Big Oak Rd and Esther Ln at 9:15PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and a records check indicated that the 41 year old male driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Bucks County. He was taken into custody to await pick up by the Bucks County Sheriff.

DRUG ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 11:25PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 20 year old female driver from Levittown for the possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custody and processed.

3/3/09

WANTED PERSON and DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 10:50AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of a male from Philadelphia on an outstanding warrant. The female passenger was taken into custody for possessing drugs. The wanted male was taken into custody to await transport to Philadelphia. The female will be issued a summons.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and Pine Grove Rd reported at 3:30PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries, but one vehicle was towed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 600 block Countess Dr reported at 11:36AM. Complainant reported that someone smashed and egged the mailbox several times in the past few weeks. Also sometime overnight Friday, someone cut two tires on a vehicle in the driveway.

3/1/09

WANTED PERSON – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 10:44AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and a records check of the male driver listed an outstanding bench warrant from Bucks County. He was taken into custody to await transport by the Sheriff’s department.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block Meetinghouse Ln reported at 1:30PM. Complainant reported that the mailbox was damaged overnight.

THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept. Store, reported at 4:43PM. Complainant reported that a wallet was taken from her purse while shopping inside the Kohl’s. Some of the complainant’s credit cards were used later at stores in Middletown.
