DUI & ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 11:24PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 28 year old male driver was driving under the influence.

1/30/09

THEFTS:

200 block Penn Valley Rd reported at 8:31AM. Complainant reported that items were taken from two unlocked vehicles; a Garmin GPS and an MP3 player.

100 block Penn Valley Rd reported at 11:25AM. Complainant reported that a wallet that contained credit cards and other items was taken from the unlocked vehicle. One of the credit cards was used to make purchases totaling $407.00.

RETAIL THEFT & ARREST – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at the Blockbuster Video reported at 10:31AM. Complainant advised police that a white male exited the store with an unknown amount of DVD’s and was last seen operating a silver colored Chevy Cavalier. Police observed the vehicle and it was stopped the male driver was taken into custody. He faces charges of theft, drug violations and tampering with evidence. The defendant was also on parole.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and SR-332 at 5:07PM. Police responded to a minor two vehicle accident.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Long Meadow Ln and Clarendon Ct reported at 9:16PM. Complainant reported that someone spray painted the stop sign.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – Unit block Upton Ln reported at 5:50PM. Complainant reported that the residence was entered sometime in the afternoon hours via a rear door. At this time a jewelry box has been reported missing.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Highland Dr reported at 1:35PM. Complainant reported that the mailbox was damaged overnight.

MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS – Long Acre Ln at 12:29PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations, which resulted in further violations. The vehicle was towed and impounded and the driver from New Jersey was issued citations.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1700 block Makefield Rd reported at 7:21PM. Complainant reports that between 6:40AM and 7:00PM this date someone forced entry to the residence thru the rear. Jewelry was taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 2700 block Brookhaven Dr reported at 11:09PM. Complainant reports that since 1/21 someone broke a sidelight by the front door causing $500 in damage.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1700 block Dyers Ln reported at 8:25AM. Complainant reported that the construction trailer was broken into, but nothing has been reported missing.

WANTED PERSON – SR-332 and I-95 at 10:30PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation through a records check revealed that the male driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Allegheny County. He was taken into custody.

THEFT – 600 block Stony Hill Rd at the Lower Makefield Shopping Center, reported at 6:29PM. Complainant reported that a coat was taken while at hair salon. The coat contained keys as well as numerous bonus cards.

DRUG ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd and Dobry Rd at 9:06PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Levittown was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and processed.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 10:39PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1400 block Bridle Ct reported at 11:21PM. Complainant reported that the lawn was turfed at about 3:00PM by a white Volvo.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 400 block Jenny Dr reported at 3:44PM. Complainant reported that someone broke out the driver’s side window on the car sometime on 1/22/09.

DRUG & DUI ARREST – Stony Hill Rd and Cardinal Dr at 2:06PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 26 year old male driver was in the possession of marijuana and also driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed.

THEFT – 1500 block Big Oak Rd at Kohl’s Dept. Store, reported at 2:58PM. Complainant reported that while inside the Kohl’s someone took her wallet. The wallet contained credit cards, which were used later.

THEFT – 1300 block University Dr reported at 10:21PM. Complainant reports that a Blackberry phone and wallet were taken from the unlocked car overnight. A credit card that was in the wallet was used at a liquor store.

600 block Friar Dr reported at 9:47AM. Complainant reported that the vehicle was entered and a computer valued at $1,500 was taken.

100 block Warwick Rd reported at 2:11PM. Complainant reported that the vehicle was entered overnight and a GPS and I-pod were taken.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Yardley Rd and Terracedale Rd at 9:25AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries reported.

THEFTS:

1200 block Dickenson Dr reported at 7:20AM. Complainant reports that overnight two vehicles were entered and a Garmin GPS, phone charger and $25 in change. The total value of the loss is about $275.

1100 block Dickenson Dr reported at 8:54AM. Complainant reports that overnight someone entered the vehicle and took a Garmin GPS, $10 cash, and a wallet that contained identification and credit cards. The total value of the loss is about $260.

1100 block Dickenson Dr reported at 10:54AM. Complainant reports that overnight someone entered the vehicle and took a Garmin GPS valued at about $300.

1100 block Dickenson Dr reported at 3:45PM. Complainant reports that overnight someone entered the vehicle and took loose change and CD’s with a total loss of about $35.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1000 block Floral Vale Blvd reported at 12:35PM. Complainant reports that overnight someone shattered the windows of a front end loader causing about $3,000 in damage.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 3:58PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the 29 year old male driver was in possession of marijuana and Percocet. He was taken into custody and processed.

1/14/09

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 200 block Arborlea Ave reported at 8:30PM. Complainant reported returning home and found the residence was entered sometime during the day via a rear slider type door that does not lock well. It is believed the actor(s) exited the residence via the front door that was found unlocked. The bedroom was ransacked and a pillow case was used to gather items. At this time missing is a jewelry box, cigar box and silver dollars.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor accidents on the day shift:

Kilby Dr and Ramsey Rd – two vehicles involved at 1:25PM.

Big Oak Rd and Stony Hill Rd – two vehicles involved at 5:58PM.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 5:30PM. Police responded to a five vehicle accident with no injuries, but one vehicle was towed.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – Unit block W. Wilfred Dr reported at 8:22PM. Complainant reported that the vehicle was entered and ransacked, however it appears that nothing was taken.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-322 and I-95 at 7:08AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported.

THEFT – Unit block Ivy Ln reported at 12:23PM. Complainant reported that between 8:00PM and 6:00AM someone entered the vehicle and took prescription medication.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1100 block Long Meadow Ln reported at 5:30PM. Complainant reported that overnight someone shot paint balls at their vehicle.

THEFTS:

600 block Deerpath Ln reported at 10:10AM. Complainant reported that for over a period of time items of jewelry have been missing. The complainant suspects that the cleaning contractor she has at the residence may be the suspect. The items taken to date are valued at about $6,000.

1500 block Makefield Rd at Pennwood Middle School reported at 11:12AM. Complainant reported that someone removed his bicycle from the bike rack on 1/8/09. The bike is described as a 20” HARO with brown grips.

THEFTS:

2000 block Farmview Dr reported at 3:20PM. Complainant reported that between 1/8 and 1/11 someone entered the unlocked vehicle and took an Ipod valued at $70.

1000 block Wood St reported at 8:30AM. Complainant reported that overnight someone entered the vehicle and took an earphone valued at $10 and $5 in loose change.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd at 2:25AM. Police responded to a one vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle struck a tree.

AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to numerous accidents on the day shift, both reportable and non-reportable and they were all weather related. No injuries were reported with the reportable accidents.

1/9/09

RECOVERED STOLEN AUTO – 1000 block Stony Hill Rd at the Business Complex at 2:55PM. Police on patrol observed a 1993 white Honda Accord parked in the parking area and missing a front tire and rear tire was flat. Inside the vehicle the stereo equipment was missing. A records check indicated the vehicle was reported stolen out of Philadelphia.

THEFT – 1300 block Kathy Dr reported at 5:33PM. Complainant reported that overnight someone entered the vehicle and took a wallet containing credit cards, $100 cash, a license and an ATM card, which was used to purchase $500 worth of prescription drugs at a CVS in Trenton, NJ.

THEFT FROM AUTO – Unit block Terracedale Rd reported at 11:02AM. Complainant reported that sometime after 9:30PM someone entered the vehicle and removed a 9mm Sig semi-automatic handgun and two empty magazines with a value of about $610. Also taken were several photo ID’s, $10 in change and parking permits.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 1900 block Woodland Dr reported at 6:00AM. Complainant reported that overnight someone entered the vehicle and just ransacked the inside. It does not appear that anything was taken.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Oxford Valley Rd and Heacock Rd at 7:06PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries reported.

WANTED PERSON & ARREST – Woodside Rd at the Park-N-Ride at 6:02PM. Police investigated a wanted person at the Park-N-Ride; the 19 year old male from Solebury was taken into custody for Unauthorized Use of Auto and also for having a small amount of marijuana on his person. He was processed at police headquarters.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1300 block Heller Dr reported at 11:45AM. Complainant reported that someone egged the residence and also smeared peanut butter and ketchup on the front door. Cleaning costs is estimated at about $700.

THEFT – 1900 block Kirkbridge Cir reported at 11:35AM. Complainant reported the disappearance of items valued at about $2,100.00. The complainant believes the items were taken from the residence by home health care workers.

1/1/09

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd by I-95 Overpass at 11:07PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident; car vs. a utility pole. There were no injuries reported.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 3:48PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed the discovery of heroin, some bags were full and others empty. Both occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 2:22PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injury, but one vehicle was towed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1200 block University Dr reported at 12:00PM. Complainant reported that the mailbox valued at about $100 was smashed overnight.

ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block Langhorne-Yardley Rd at the CVS Pharmacy, reported at 3:56PM. Store employees reported that a male subject loaded up a foil lined bag with $675.17 worth of merchandise, but he dropped the bag and ran after being confronted by an employee. The actor was described as a white male in his 30’s and about 5’6” with a medium build and a long grey ponytail. He was last seen wearing a faded denim jacket, jeans and sneakers.

ATTEMPTED IDENTITY THEFT – 1400 block Woodview Dr reported at 9:26AM. Complainant reported that someone fraudulently used his identity to apply for two credit cards. The application process for both cards was canceled.

12/29/08

THEFT – Unit block Oxford Valley Rd at the Shell Station, reported at 10:34AM. A store employee reported that his cell phone was taken from the public restroom of the gas station. The complainant accidentally left the cell in the restroom and when he went to retrieve it was gone.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Taylorsville Rd and Dolington Rd at 3:15PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but both vehicles needed to be towed.

12/28/08

DRUG ARREST – 1000 River Rd at Macclesfield Park at 9:49PM. Police on patrol observed a vehicle in the park after hours. Further investigation revealed that the male three male occupants were in possession of a small amount of marijuana and also alcohol. All three will be cited by police.

THEFT – 600 block Township Line Rd reported at 1:25PM. Complainant reported that about 60 Percocet tablets were taken from a drug locker at the place of business.

12/27/08

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and W. Ferry Rd at 10:14PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported.

DRUG ARREST – Edgewood Rd at 9:16AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. The driver was taken into custody and processed.

DRUG ARREST – Pine Grove Rd and W. Trenton Ave at 4:03PM. Police stopped vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the three male occupants aged 17, 19 and 20 were in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. All three were taken into custody for processing. The 19 year old who was operating the vehicle is also being charged with DUI.

THEFT – Unit block Concord Ln reported at 11:09AM. Complainant reported that the markers for the driveway valued at $15 were taken overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Concord Ln reported at 11:54AM. Complainant reported that an inflatable decoration valued at $50 was slashed overnight.

DRUG POSSESSION – Big Oak Rd and Marlboro Rd at 1:50AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Philadelphia was in possession of a small amount of marijuana; he was issued citations.

12/26/08

DRUG POSSESSION – Heacock Rd and Cardinal Dr at 10:51PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation found 2 small baggies of marijuana. Both female juveniles from Levittown to be cited and they were taken into custody for further processing.

THEFT – 200 block Wildflower Cir reported at 1:41PM. Complainant reported the unauthorized purchase of Airline related items valued at $954 that occurred on 12/22/08. The purchase was made with the complainants Mastercard.

HIT & RUN ACCIDENT – 900 block Queens Dr reported at 3:08PM. Complainant reported that his vehicle, which was parked in the street, was struck sometime overnight. There is minor damage reported.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1300 block Newtown-Yardley Rd reported at 3:10PM. Complainant reported arriving home and observed a vehicle pulling out of the driveway. Once inside the residence the complainant discovered that the home had been burglarized. Entry was made via an unlocked front door and the master bedroom was ransacked. It appears that jewelry is missing. A possible description of the suspect is as follows: A white male, early 30’s. He had a heavy build, blondish wavy hair and last seen wearing a tan Carhart work jacket and operating an older model tan or brown vehicle. The vehicle is possibly a Buick Skylark.
