2/28/09

DUI & ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 9:56PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 20 year old male driver for being under the influence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

1700 block Meetinghouse Ln reported at 11:06AM. Complainant reported that the mailbox valued at about $40 was damaged overnight.

1600 block Meetinghouse Ln reported at 11:06AM. Complainant reported that the mailbox was damaged overnight.

THEFT – 2100 block Yardley Rd reported at 11:55AM. Complainant reported that the 1983 Ford F-250 was taken from the driveway sometime on 2/27/09 between 4:30PM and 5:15PM. Apparently the truck was not drive able and would have needed to be towed. The vehicle had been for sale by the owner.

RETAIL THEFT – 635 Heacock Rd at the McCaffreys Supermarket reported at 10:55AM. A store employee reported that a white male was seen exiting the store carrying some items. The male was approached by employees and he dropped the items and fled in an older model green van with a P.A. registration plate. The items recovered were valued at $41.02.

RETAIL THEFT – 1641 Big Oak Rd at Kohl’s Dept Store reported at 4:10PM. Store security stopped a 51 year old female from Bristol for taking several clothing items and not making payment on them. She was released to the custody of the police for processing.

DRUG ARREST – Township Line Rd & Stony Hill Rd at 12:12AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver from Morrisville. Drug paraphernalia was found inside the vehicle and the driver to be charged with the possession.

DRUG ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 10:39PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 19 year old male driver for the possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody and processed at police headquarters.

2/22/09

DUI & ARREST – 1500 Big Oak Rd at 5:00PM. Police received information about a possible DUI in the area of the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center. On arrival police observed the vehicle and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for driving under the influence. He was taken into custody for processing.

2/20/09

THEFT – 800 block Big Oak Rd at the Exxon Station, reported at 8:58PM. Complainant reported being distracted by a white female; she asked to have her tire checked. When the attendant returned the cash register area, about $300 in cash was missing.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – River Rd and Ferry Rd at 10:24PM. Police on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle and further investigation led to a 19 year old male from Ewing, N.J. being issued non-traffic citations for underage drinking.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 700 block River Rd reported at 2:30PM. Complainant reported that someone charged $110.00 on the Visa card without authorization.

DRUG ARREST – Pine Grove Rd and Big Oak Rd at 12:37PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for the possession of drug paraphernalia and other summary offenses.

2/18/09

THEFT – 500 block Nottingham Dr reported at 7:07PM. Complainant reported that someone entered the unlocked vehicle overnight and took a credit card holder containing various club cards.

DRUG ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 10:36AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver from LMT for the possession of marijuana inside the vehicle. He was processed at police headquarters.

THEFTS:

Unit block Oakdale Dr reported at 6:55AM. Complainant reported that about $10.00 was taken from the unlocked car overnight.

200 block Forrest Rd reported at 3:40PM. Complainant reported that a Tom-Tom GPS Unit valued at about $200 was taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight.

FRAUD – 2000 block Yardley Rd reported at 5:00PM. Complainant reported credit card fraud in the amount of $2,000 through Capital One Bank.

DRUG ARREST – Heacock Rd and Oxford Valley Rd at 9:02PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male driver for the possession of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody and processed at police headquarters.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor auto accidents on the day shift:

Stony Hill Rd and Daffodil Dr – Two vehicles involved.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stewarts Way and Candace Ln at 3:05AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident after the vehicle jumped the curb striking a street sign and damaging some property.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – 800 block Big Oak Rd at Charles Boehm Middle School, reported at 3:07AM. Police on patrol observed an occupied vehicle parked in the rear area of the school. Inside the vehicle were two 17 year old juveniles and some alcohol was found. Both juveniles were turned over to their parents.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and Township Line Rd at 8:44PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries reported.

DRUG ARREST – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 12:59PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana inside the vehicle and on the occupants. Several small size bales and over a dozen individual packets were discovered. Two of the occupants to be issued summons, the male driver from Levittown was taken into custody and processed.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1100 block Surrey Ln reported at 12:10AM. Police responded to a report of disorderly persons and a loud party. On arrival police found a loud party in progress and the homeowner was advised to reduce the noise. Police departed the area and as soon as they did several of the party goers began to urinate on the complainant’s property. Police were called again and returned, and contact was made with several persons outside; they began yelling obscenities at police on scene and were not responding to commands to return to their home. One male defendant was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

FRAUD – 1900 block Knight Cir. Reported at 3:35PM. Complainant reported that two accounts were opened in her name in 1999 and one account has a balance of $21,000 and the other a balance of $121.00.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd at 4:02PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. A vehicle struck a tree.

THEFT – 500 block Barn Dr reported at 9:33AM. Complainant reported that $10 in change was taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight.

FRAUD – 2100 block W. Wellington Rd reported at 9:35AM. Complainant reported unauthorized postings on Craig’s List and New York Times utilizing a Visa and totaling $800 in charges.

THEFTS:

500 block Barn Dr reported at 9:59AM. Complainant reported that two vehicles in the driveway were entered overnight and ransacked, about $12 in change missing.

1800 block Westover Rd reported at 3:45PM. Complainant reported that a safe containing about $1,000 and personal identification was taken sometime in the past three months.

ATTEMPETED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – Unit block Maplevale Dr reported at 4:05PM. Complainant reported receiving a suspicious phone call from someone requesting information about their alarm system. Subsequently someone attempted to enter the residence via the rear.

DUI / ACCIDENT – 1000 block Victory Dr reported at 3:40AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident and further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle may have been under the influence. The driver was transported to the hospital and vehicle was towed, charges are pending.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 6900 block Spruce Mill Dr reported at 4:05PM. Complainant reported that a right rear tire on the vehicle was slashed.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 11:36AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the two male occupants, one 26 years of age and the other 29 years of age were in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Both occupants were cited by police.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block W. Ferry Rd reported at 9:23AM. Complainant reported that overnight the vehicle was egged.

2/6/09

RETAIL THEFT – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at the CVS Pharmacy, reported at 10:44AM. A store employee reported that items valued at $91.50 were taken by a black male who has a tattoo of teardrop under the left eye. He was described as being about 6’ to 6’2” and light skinned with short cropped hair.

WANTED PERSON – Big Oak Rd and W.Ferry Rd at 2:34PM. Police on patrol stopped a person for investigation. A records check led to the 48 year old male being taken into custody for an outstanding bench warrant out of Bucks County.

DRUG ARREST – Big Oak Rd and Makefield Rd at 7:58AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for the possession of marijuana and some type of pills. He was taken into custody and processed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block Lakeview Cir reported at 1:45PM. Complainant reported that the windshield on the vehicle was damaged.

NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor accidents on the day shift:

Cardinal Dr and Heacock Rd – Two vehicles involved.

Taylorsville Rd by I-95 – Two vehicles involved.

Newtown-Yardley Rd and Stony Hill Rd – Two vehicles involved.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 300 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 2:23PM. Complainant reported that their unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing appears to be missing.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Langhorne-Yardley Rd and Stony Hill Rd at 3:37PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injury and towing of a vehicle.

DUI / ARREST – Heacock Rd and Covington Rd at 6:57PM. Police responded to the area for the report of an intoxicated person in the parking lot of the shopping center. Police located the male and he was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

THEFT – 200 block Taylorsville Rd reported at 7:17AM. Complainant reported that the unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. Credit cards, driver’s license, cash and medical equipment with a total value of about $4,550 were taken.

IDENTITY THEFT – 200 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 5:00PM. Complainant reported that someone accessed their credit union account to purchase a $273 airline ticket.

PUBLIC DRUNK – 200 block Kathy Dr reported at 4:00AM. Police responded out to the report of naked male. Police located the male inside his vehicle and he was intoxicated. He will be cited by police for public drunkenness.

THEFT – 600 block Friar Dr reported at 9:01PM. Complainant reported that the registration card for the vehicle is missing from the glove box and believes it was taken overnight.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

1700 block Dyers Ln reported at 10:35AM. Complainant reported that the construction equipment at the building site was damaged over the weekend.

1300 block Gates Cir reported at 10:55AM. Complainant reported that a burnt water bottle was placed inside the mailbox, there was no damage.
