8/31/09

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – River Rd and Vickers Way at 11:07PM. Police on patrol observed two juvenile males walking with back packs. A pedestrian investigation was conducted and this led to one of the juveniles being cited for the possession of drug paraphernalia.

THEFTS FROM AUTO:

500 block Freedom Dr reported at 7:15AM. Complainant reports that overnight a wallet and Swiss army knife were taken.

400 block Honeysuckle Dr reported at 10:00AM. Complainant reports that a driver’s license and credit cards were taken.

RETAIL THEFT – 600 block Heacock Rd at the Wine & Spirits store at 2:00PM. A store employee reports that an unknown female removed a bottle of Cognac valued at about $60.

8/30/09

DUI & ARREST – 2000 block Yardley Rd at 9:33PM. Police on patrol located a disabled vehicle and further investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence. The driver was taken into custody for processing.

THEFTS:

1400 block Heather Ct reported at 12:27PM. Complainant reports that overnight a side window on the vehicle was broken and a GPS valued at $350 was taken.

200 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 2:49PM. Complainant reports that overnight the vehicle was entered and hand and electric tools valued at about $500 were removed.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Oxford Valley Rd and US Route 1 at 4:55PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident, car vs. a motorcycle and injuries were reported.

DUI & AUTO ACCIDENT – 800 block Mirror Lake Rd reported at 4:18AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident and the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital. Charges are pending for DUI and underage drinking.

RECOVERD STOLEN VEHICLE – 500 block American Dr reported at 7:49AM. Complainant reports that sometime overnight a 2005 Honda was stolen from the driveway. At about 1:00AM the complainant reports hearing laughter and a vehicle chirp. The stolen vehicle was recovered on Bancroft Dr in LMT and returned to the owner.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES:

1000 block Bancroft Ln reported at 1:45PM – Complainant reports that a GPS, Pentex digital camera, sunglasses and a Verizon cell phone with a combined value of about $1,000 were taken from the vehicle.

300 block Ramsey Rd reported at 6:39AM. Complainant reports that a GPS valued at $349 was taken.

1100 block Bancroft Ln reported at 9:05AM. Complainant reports that an I-pod adapter and an EZ-Pass with a combined value of about $600 were taken.

400 block Ramsey Rd reported at 10:13AM. Complainant reports that about $20 in loose change was taken.

400 block Ramsey Rd reported at 4:31PM. Complainant reports that a Tom-Tom GPS valued at about $260 was taken, along with three bank checks.

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 300 block Ramsey Rd reported at 2:52PM. Complainant reports that the vehicle was entered, it appears nothing was taken.

LOITERING & PROWLING ARREST – 1300 block Jacob Dr reported at 10:12PM.   Police received a call for a burglary-in-progress with two males inside the garage. The caller reports that the males were running on foot and then observed leaving in a Ford Explorer. Police observed the suspect vehicle on Lindenhurst Rd and it was stopped and the two males were located. A positive identification of the suspects was made by the complainant and the two 18 year olds from Newtown were taken into custody and charged with loitering and prowling at night and disorderly conduct.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Pine Grove Rd & Big Oak Rd at 1:59PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with a vehicle being towed, no injuries reported.

THEFT – 2000 block Silverwood Dr reported at 11:30AM. Complainant reports that a GPS, 50 music CD’s and coins with a combined value of about $920 were taken from the vehicle between 8/16 and 8/17/09.

8/23/09

ATTEMPTED THEFT – 1300 block Moon Dr reported at 7:35PM. Complainant reports that the vehicle was entered, but it appears nothing was taken.

WANTED PERSON – Makefield Rd and Yardley Rd at 10:53AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and a records check indicated that the male driver is wanted on an outstanding warrant from Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

THEFTS:

Unit block St. James Pl reported at 11:46AM. Complainant reports that about $5.00 in change was taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight.

700 block Wynnwood Dr reported at 1:19PM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and an Ipod, Verizon cell phone and about $25 in cash were taken.

600 block Friar Dr reported at 10:42AM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and about $5 in currency was taken.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 6:20PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Trenton, NJ was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into police custody.

THEFT – Unit block Central Dr reported at 7:49AM. Complainant reports that overnight someone removed 2 Bluetooth’s valued at about $25 from the unlocked vehicle.

DUI ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 4:10PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator was driving under the influence. During the investigation the driver fled on foot, but was apprehended by police. He was taken into custody and also faces charges of resisting arrest.

UNDERAGE DRINKING AND WANTED PERSON – 1100 block Surrey Ln reported at 2:06AM. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call and on arrival at the residence seven persons under the age of 21 were found drinking alcoholic beverages and issued non-traffic citations. One of the defendants had an outstanding warrant from Bucks County and he was taken into custody for that and transported to police headquarters.

1800 block Wrightfield Ave reported at 5:08PM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a cellular phone and about $20 in loose change was taken.

1900 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 7:41AM. Complainant reports that overnight that two unlocked vehicles were entered and a Garmin GPS valued at $250 and $150 were taken.

FRAUD – 300 block Lenape Ln reported at 5:14PM. Complainant reports that her credit card was fraudulently used to make purchases in Florida.

THEFT – 1600 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 9:35AM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a handgun a .25 caliber pistol, keys, credit card, knife and a GPS were taken.

FOUND PROPERTY – Please see the attached picture, this large wooden bald eagle statue was found in the vicinity of Friar Drive and Teich Drive in a township retention basin and it is in very good condition. It was reported to police on today’s date.

Update: This item was found to have been stolen from
Bristol Township and has been returned.

DUI ARREST – Lindenhurst Rd and Steeplechase Rd at 8:29PM. Police responded to a one vehicle auto accident at this location and as a result the 24 year old female driver of the involved vehicle was taken into police custody for driving under the influence.

500 block Hearthstone Dr – Complainant reports that the mailbox valued at $100 was destroyed.

1100 block Waterwheel Dr – Complainant reports that the mailbox valued at $100 was destroyed.

THEFT – 900 block Overton Rd reported at 6:19PM. Complainant reports that a gong valued at $150 was taken from the front porch overnight.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W.Trenton Ave at 3:58PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for drug possession. He was taken into custody for processing.

DRUG ARREST – 500 block W. Trenton Ave at 6:35PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the male driver from Fairless Hills, PA for the possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody for processing.

THEFTS:

900 block Hamilton Dr reported at 9:34AM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a GPS and some loose change were taken.

900 block Hamilton Dr reported at 11:06AM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and 2 Ipod charges and about $25 in loose change were taken.

Unit block Eton Rd reported at 1:30PM. Complainant reports that about 4 or 5 months ago someone entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a Sirius satellite radio.

UNDERAGE DRINKING – Unit block Oxford Valley Rd at 2:39AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the 20 old male driver to being cited for underage drinking.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 100 block Glen Valley Rd reported at 6:55PM. Complainant reported that someone graffitied the neighbor’s mailbox.

DISTURBANCE / FIGHT – River Rd at the Yardley Boat Ramp Access reported at 5:00PM. Police responded to persons fighting over the use of the boat ramp. Charges for disorderly conduct and harassment are pending the outcome of the investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 1900 block Sylvan Terr reported at 7:30AM. Complainant reports that overnight someone entered the vehicle and removed the complainant’s wallet, which contained credit cards and other types of personal information.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police on the day shift responded to several accidents involving the removal of the vehicles by tow:

SR-532 and Stoopville Rd at 8:05AM – Two vehicles involved.

Oxford Valley Rd and Mt. Pleasant Dr at 2:40PM. Two vehicles involved.

ROBBERY – 600 block Stony Hill Rd at the Rite Aid at 4:56PM. Police responded to a strong arm robbery of the Rite Aid by white male described to be in his early 20’s with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black zipper hoodie with a skeleton on the front. The actor reached into the cash register and took $160.00 and fled on foot towards the rear of the shopping center.

THEFT – 1641 Big Oak Rd at the Kohls Dept. Store reported at 1:53PM. Complainant reports that her wallet was taken from her person whiles shopping inside the store. Her credit cards were used shortly thereafter at several retail establishments by the Oxford Valley Mall.

THEFTS:

Unit block Pevsner Rd reported at 7:34AM. Complainant reports that overnight the vehicle was entered a Garmin GPS valued at $300 was taken.

Unit block Black Rock Rd reported at 10:05AM. Complainant reports that sometime after 9:00AM on 8/9/09 and again after 9:00PM on 8/10/09, someone removed two prescription bottles from the medicine cabinet. There was an open house during the one of the dates noted.

REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and I-95 at 3:14PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident and the vehicles were removed by tow.

8/10/09

THEFT ARREST – 500 block River Rd at 10:19PM. Police were responding to another call in the vicinity and while enroute an alert LMT police officer observed a suspicious male. Further investigation revealed that male defendant from Hamilton, N.J. was in possession of items that did not belong to him. The items had been taken from vehicles within Lower Makefield, he was taken into custody processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – Unit block S.Homestead Dr reported at 8:44AM. Complainant reports that overnight the vehicle was entered and a Canon camera, H&P GPS and a professional engineer stamp with a total value of $800 were taken.

RETAIL THEFT – 500 block W.Trenton Ave at the CVS Pharmacy reported at 12:50PM. A store employee observed a black female exit the store and then the alarm activated. A total of $78.26 in merchandise was taken and she was last seen getting into a blue Toyota with N.J. registration plates.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 600 block Burgundy Pl reported at 12:57PM. Complainant reports that overnight someone threw an object thru the rear window of the vehicle

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

1200 block Lexington Dr reported at 2:57AM. Complainant reports that the windshield of the vehicle was vandalized.

1300 block Revere Rd reported at 3:28AM. Police on patrol observed that a windshield of a vehicle was vandalized and attempt to contact the owner is being made.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Stafford Pl and E. Ferry Rd at 1:29AM. Police on patrol found two persons in an intimate position in the vehicle and one of the subjects was cited for disorderly conduct.

Unit block N. Homestead Dr reported at 7:53AM. Complainant reports that the unlocked vehicle was entered and a Sirius satellite radio valued at $250 was taken. A neighbor reported observing a person entering the vehicle at about 5:35AM and that person may have fled the area in a dark colored SUV.

Unit block N. Homestead Dr reported at 8:10AM. Complainant reports that the unlocked vehicle was entered and black computer bag which contained a check was taken.

Unit block St. James Pl. Complainant reports that wallets were taken from the vehicle.

ATTEMPTED THEFTS FROM VEHICLE:

Unit block Oak Ave reported at 8:35AM. Complainant reports that someone entered the unlocked vehicle but did not take anything.

Unit block Oak Ave reported at 8:47AM. Complainant reports that someone entered the unlocked vehicle and removed party gifts. The gifts were recovered outside of the car on the property.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 900 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 2:50PM. Complainant reports that overnight someone slashed two of the tires on the vehicle.

8/7/09

DRUG ARREST – East Ferry Rd and the Delaware Canal at 8:00PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 32 year old male driver from Morrisville for drug possession and paraphernalia.

DUI ARREST – River Rd at Kathy Dr at 2:39AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 46 year old male driver from Yardley for driving under the influence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 700 block Stony Hill Rd at the Lower Makefield Shopping Center reported at 5:56PM. Complainant reports that the vehicle was keyed while inside the Giant Supermarket.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 200 block Meadow Dr reported at 4:05PM. Complainant reports that someone attempted to burglarize the residence.

8/6/09

UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – 1500 block Clark Dr at 7:59PM. Police were advised of several juveniles drinking in the area. Police located three males who then ran from police, but they were apprehended. The three males ranging in age from 19 to 20 were cited for underage drinking.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 200 block Meadow Dr reported at 11:08PM. Complainant reports arriving home and finding forced entry to the residence via a rear door. Further investigation revealed that an attempt was made to enter via a second floor window without success. At this time it appears that nothing is missing from the residence.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – Unit block Homestead Dr reported at 9:30AM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a jack and wallet containing credit cards and ID was taken.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 100 block Old Oxford Valley Rd reported at 2:50PM. Complainant reports finding a window frame that was bent outward and it is not known when this occurred. Entry to the residence was not made.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 600 block Bayberry Ln reported at 5:17PM. Complainant reports that a family member along with two friends entered the residence and removed property. Neighbors observed the suspects and vehicles and were able to give police descriptions. The value of the items taken range from $5,000 to $10,000 and some bank checks that were taken on another occasion were forged and cashed; which resulted in a loss of $407.

8/6/09

DRUG ARREST – East Ferry Rd and Stafford Pl at 1:03AM. A suspicious vehicle investigation led to the arrest of a 29 year old male for drug possession and the corruption of a minor. Inside the vehicle with the male was a 15 year old juvenile female passenger. The defendant was taken into custody, processed and sent to Bucks County Prison awaiting bail.

ASSAULT ON POLICE ARREST – East Ferry Rd and Stafford Pl at 1:03AM. During the course of the above noted investigation a 15 year old juvenile female punched an LMT Police Officer in the face. She was also taken into custody and processed and sent to the Bucks County Juvenile Detention Center.

Unit block W. Crown Terr reported at 11:21AM. Complainant reports that in the overnight hours of 8/3 someone entered the vehicle and removed two I-pods, a book bag and a GPS unit with combined total value of $610.

1200 block Yardley-Morrisville Rd reported at 3:00AM. Complainant reports that overnight between 12:00AM and 2:30AM someone entered the unlocked vehicles and took loose change and tools.

900 block Big Oak Rd reported at 5:45AM. Complainant reports that sometime since 8/3 someone had entered the vehicle and took music CD’s and loose change.

THEFTS:

Unit block W. Crown Terr reported at 6:55PM. Complainant reports that overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a GPS unit was taken.

1200 block Madison Dr reported at 8:38AM. Complainant reports that overnight the vehicle was entered and an FM modulator, phone charger and GPS charger were taken.

1200 block Yardley Rd reported 9:50AM. Complainant reports that overnight the vehicle was entered and a GPS unit, cell phones and a wallet containing credit cards and cash were taken.

500 block South Ridge Cir reported at 12:21AM. Complainant reports that a jewelry box valued at about $3,500 was taken from the residence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 800 block Weber Dr reported at 8:30AM. Complainant reports that the brake lines and an anti-lock device were disabled on two vehicles while in the driveway.

DRUG ARREST – Clearview Dr and Woodside Rd at 2:25AM. While police were responding to another a call, two male subjects were observed and stopped for investigation. Further investigation of the males led to their arrest for the possession of a small amount marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Woodside Rd at the Makefield Highlands Golf Course, reported at 5:54AM. Complainant reports that some signs on the property were damaged, and also the number 8 putting green.

8/2/09

THEFT – Woodside Rd at the Makefield Highlands Golf Course, reported at 3:53PM. Complainant reports that in the overnight hours on 7/31/09 someone removed stop signs from the parking area.

DUI ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 12:06AM. Police were advised of a traffic accident and as they began to arrive on scene, two motorcycles fled the scene. The operator of the one who was involved in the accident was stopped by police and further investigation revealed that he was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody, the second motorcyclist fled.
